Uses

Otiderm® is specifically formulated to deodorize and gently clean, while it acidifies the pet's ear canal and self-dries. This provides an ideal environment for healthy ears.

Effective Cleaning

Otiderm is an anti-irritant formula with neutral pH and aloe vera. Otiderm can be used in conjunction with ear medications. Apply gently to the ear, then massage the base of the ear gently. Using a non-abrasive material, remove excess solutions and repeat if necessary. For external skin lesions or wounds: Apply liberally 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by a veterinarian. After use, close both parts of the cap tightly.

Cautions

Discontinue use and irrigate with water if undue irritation develops, and consult a veterinarian. Do not use it on severely irritated or ulcerated skin. For use in pets only. Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients

Deionized water, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Vera Gel, SD Alcohol 40, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Salicylic Acid, Fragrance, Benzoic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol.

Useful Information

Apply liberally into the ear canal. Massage the base of the ear. Allow pet to shake head. Clean excess with a cotton ball.

In excessively dirty ears: apply 2-3 times daily over several days.

For maintenance of health ears: 1-2 times weekly or as often as recommended by your veterinarian. Always apply after swimming.

Caution:

For animal use only. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush eyes with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Do not use in ears with ruptured tympanic membranes (eardrums).

Storage:

Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.

We have many small dogs with ears that hang, and are prone to yeast and bacterial infection. We use this often to keep their ears clean. It smells great and does the job.

My favorite Veterinarian, my brother, suggested I use this on our Lab puppy when she was just a pup. Lab's get into some pretty yucky water when hunting the wintertime birds.
I use this year round, it keeps their ears nice & clean. I found EntirelyPets online & they have a really good price on Otiderm, I buy them in 3's & will continue to buy from EntirelyPets, I used to get this from Amazon but their price has gone thru the roof on this needed product. I use it on our cat too.

CLEAN EARS!

This product does what it says it will do, it works great and smells great too. Our big boy loves to go to the creek and swim every chance he gets and therefore, has a tendency to get yeast in the ears, cleaning them a couple times a week keeps the yeast at bay and keeps his ears smelling nice :). Great product!

Product seems ok. It's not oily which is good. It doesn't smell bad but it also doesn't smell fresh and clean. That's why it gets 3 stars. I wouldn't buy it again but I will use what I have.

Otiderm ear cleanser was recommended by our vet a few years ago when we brought our lab, Twyla in with ear infections (yes both ears!!). She has allergies and we now have to clean her ears every three days in order to prevent the infections.
This product is soft for the ears and works wonderfully. Also a plus...it's very reasonably priced compared to CAD at the vet!

I have a pitbull/bulldog mix who has chronic ear infections. I discovered this product, looking for something that "dries" the ears. This has worked very well as long as I stay consistant....using it at least 3-5 times per week. For the cost....well worth it. She's happier, and I happy for her.
