We have been using this ever since our Lab was a puppy. She used to scratch all the time and have dry skin, until we started using this oil. Now she doesn't scratch and we get compliments ALL the time about how SHINY her coat is! I guarantee that this works, because when we go on vacation or run out of the oil, in about 1-1/2 weeks, her coat starts to get dull-looking, her skin loses that healthy shine, and she scratches more. Start using the oil again and it's back to looking great and she's more comfortable! (-) Unfortunately all the pumps leak, so you get oil on your counter and hands!! YUCK! Put the bottle in a jelly jar so you don't have to touch it, then hold that over the food when you push the pump.

We have 2 Miniature Schnauzers, a Yorkie and a Bichon - plus we had many different types of foster dogs. EVERY one of them that has a skin problem is trouble free after using the 3V Caps. They don't itch, hot spots are rare and their coats are BEAUTIFUL! We used to use the Capsules, but try getting those down 8 different dogs and/or putting a hole in them with a knife. Talk about oil going EVERYWHERE! We use 1/2 a pump in each dish as we put out the food each night and it works like a charm. Does not have to be refrigerated and we have a little basket on the counter where we keep it so it stays upright and does not leak. We would be miserable without this product, and SO WOULD ALL OUR DOGS! (also works on cats.)

I use this in addition to Joint Max chewables to help my Lab mix with her arthritis. Omega 3 fatty acids found in this product boost the Glucosamine in the joint chew tabs. This product also keeps her coat lustrous. I don't find it messy....at least not now! The trick is to be sure that the pump is turned completely to the "open" position because if it off even just a bit the pump will NOT operate as freely and that's where I find the oil can leak and things get messy. It's sure much easier using the pump than opening up the capsules or worse, trying to get capsules down the dog's mouth!
