I Have an outside dog and and one inside/outside dog. We used Frontline and it kinda worked but K9 Is Awesome! Spend the extra money and say good by to the flees. Within 3 days the flees are gone and have not seen them since, Not in the carpet, out side on on the animals.

I have 3 dogs, 2 of which have ZERO issues with Advantix and still use it monthly. My other dog is REALLY allergic to it. It took me a couple months to realize that it was the Advantix causing the symptoms she was having. Roughly 5-7 hours after administering she was very hot both to the touch and she was panting like crazy. Very lethargic with very dilated pupils. Took about12 hours for it to pass...they do not list these as side effects on their product when I've read online that hundreds of dogs have had the same problems after using Advantix on them including seizures.
Not to scare you from using this BUT do keep an eye on your dog for several hours after giving them any new medication to see if they have adverse reactions to it. My dog is now on Comfortis and has no problems with it.
