Every day millions of pet owners are faced with the task of medicating their pets. How many ways have you tried to trick your pet into taking medication?
Like most pet owners you've poked them down, ground them up, hidden them in any number of unhealthy foods and pleaded with your pet to swallow its medication, only to have your pet spit it out, eat everything but the medication, drool and foam at the mouth, and resist you, tooth and claw! Now there is a better way. Pill PocketsŪ are healthy treats with a patented pocket to safely conceal the medicine - it's as simple as that.
We have two dogs that are not good pill takers. Our vet recommended Pill Pockets so we tried them. Our male Bishon does fine, in fact loves them. Our female Toy Poodle doesn't like them at all.

I have a big (105lb.) dog and getting him to take his pills was a chore to say the least. He loves the Pill Pockets!!!!! Problem solved. He even looks forward to the pills!
pill pockets by whippet23 from Albuquerque,NM11/14/2011
This is the only way to pill my whippet. She slurps them down regardless of how many pills I've stuffed in there. They were great for the boys after they had teeth pulled and needed pain meds too.
Pill Pockets are the best by Kelly from Amherst, MA12/06/2011
My 2 year old mastiff has a serious heart condition and he has to take several medications throughout the day. These pill pockets are the best! He got tired of cheese and peanut butter. He thinks he is getting a treat every time I give him his medication. I highly recommend these to anyone who has to give their dog medication.
Best way to give pills by Prancer's Mom from Bourbonnais, IL01/25/2012
This is one of the best products that I have ever used for my dog, Prancer. Prancer has many health issues and can't walk and because of his polyarthritis, he takes lots of pills every day. I don't know what I would do without Pill Pockets. I give him 14 pills per day. I just break off a large enough piece to cover the pill to help with the cost. I had tried liver sausage, hot dogs, cheese, bread and anything else I could think of to put a pill in. None of them worked for long. And I hate liver sausage. I always buy the large Pill Pockets as they are a better value and I always try to buy from Entirely Pets as they have the best price I've found especially with the 15% discount special. My last purchase was 12 Pill Pocket packages. The picture is of Prancer in his protective glasses during laser therapy.
most humane way to give your pet pills by weimy mom from Colorado01/17/2012
We have older dogs who need daily pills. These are the best option for getting their meds into them. They actually sit and wait to be given their pill pocket.
Great Value by Victor12/10/2011
Makes giving daily pills a treat instead of a tussle! Due to a set of chronic conditions my dog is on 5 pills each morning and 4 pills each evening. Using pill pockets has him looking forward to pill time. By using the larger "for capsules" pockets I only use one per session, not one for each pill.

This has to be the BEST invention!!! My tricky pill takers eat these treats like candy!
Makes giving pills so easy by elnajah from mechanicsville, md12/12/2011
I love the pill pockets. I like the beef the best. They are a little softer. I get the large so I can put 3 small tablets in one pill pocket.
My dog used to eat them without a problem, but she chewed one and got the bad taste in her mouth, so she stopped taking them like a treat. Now I have to force them down, but at least I am forcing 3 down at one time and she doesn't get the bitter taste of the pills.
If your dog is normal and doesn't try to chew her treats, you will never have a problem.
PILL POCKETS ARE A LIFESAVER! by Miss Molly from Port Orchard, WA11/07/2011
3 of my 4 dogs take pills daily and one has to have a powder that tastes bitter. I don't know what I would do without pill pockets, because they all think they are getting a treat, not pills. They beg me for them! For the powder, I form the pill pocket into a bowl, then close the top over it. Beef pockets are the most pliable. If you are using for the first time, just feed the pill pocket with nothing in it.
Pill Pockets are a dream product by Stella from South Dakota11/07/2011
We have a seziure dog who is currently taking a total of 19 pills spread out over 5 times during the day, EVERY DAY. Pill pockets are an absolute dream for making pill administration easy. It has literally made the difference with keeping this dog alive thus far as she is a very difficult seizure case and has required medications for years now.

Beef Pill Pockets LARGE 47.4 oz by luvfresno from Bakersfield, CA01/08/2012
Pill Pockets have been a lifesaver for me and my Yorkie, Punkin. This is how I give her any pill or tablet medication she needs. They have even come in handy for a "treat". She loves them and so do! They make it so easy for her to take her meds.
They Really Work by Eve from Portland, OR10/09/2011
Before I discovered Pill Pockets, it was time-consuming and challenging to get my dog to take medication. She seems to love Pill Pockets, so now we never have any trouble. The only reason I didn't give PIll Pockets 5 stars is that in every bag, there are always a few Pockets that are squished or crumbled. (They're still usable, though.)

Great Product by Nana Carol from South Central Missouri01/25/2012
My male Pyrenees has hip problems. He must take a anti-inflammatory every day. It was a fight to get him to take it. He is a gentle dog and wouldn't hurt anyone but he didn't like having me open his mouth and throw a pill in. With the Pill Pocket, he has it swallowed and doesn't know he had a pill. He thinks it is a treat. I think this is a GREAT Product.
I have a very discerning dog by Jackie01/29/2008
Penny can eat around a pill put in her food. She will take a cheese cube with a pill inside and spit out the pill. But when I get out the Pill Pockets she comes running! No more problem getting her to take her pills.
