I use this for my older cats when their skin gets itchy with seasonal allergies. I've also given it to my foster kittens in their weaning cereal mix & on their first wet kitten food. They love it! I think this salmon oil also goes a long way to keeping their skin & eyes healthy. It does tend to add a bit of a foul odor to their droppings in the box, but that's a small matter compared to the benefits.
