My newly adopted kitten, Larry, was very nervous in his new home. He was having trouble with our other pets and had started coping with the stress by biting! I found Rescue Remedy in both drops and spray and with one days application he is back to his sweet self and has not bitten again! He is also sleeping better and in all a happier little guy!

Our dog has bouts of anxiety and has been waking us up frequently in the middle of the night. if you are considering putting your dog on an anxiety med, please try Rescue Remedy first. This fast-acting spray is a great alternative!

We give our Zelda (border collie mix) and Sam (lab mix) this and it relieves their anxiety. Great for storm season and for taking the "edge" off Zelda. Would recommend.
Unfortunately my order never arrived and I had to buy it at a retail store. The item was out of stock (happens too often) and I needed the other items ordered so they shipped the balance but led me to believe that balance of the order would be filled. That was more than 1 month ago. Very disappointed that promises were made and not kept or at least informed!

I would grab this whenever I expected a thunderstorm, it really needs to be given before an anxious event. Anyway it would help keep my dog much more calm.

Rescue Remedy by natalie112 from Blaine, MN02/28/2012
To be honest I'm not sure this product works. Our foster dog has some OCD behaviors and this product didn't seem to make much difference. I was willing to give it a try because it certainly couldn't hurt.
Human product? by Nedene from Brirish Columbia, Canada01/28/2013
I discovered on opening this it has 27% alcohol, and inferred people usage, not animal. This product IS sold for both, people and animals, with different ingredients.
WHY was I sold a product for people from an Entirely Pet product outlet? And have to pay for it? Along with shipping. I would not give it to my dog, or take it myself. I called, and was told I would be given a 'discount' on this people product I had ordered by mistake. My Mistake? No discount, either.

Very satisfied with Bach rescue remedy.
Keeps my cats and dogs calm and secure
for trips to vet and also for noise.
Purchased the wrong version by zkid12/31/2012
I'm only posting this, because, inadvertently, I purchased the wrong Rescue Remedy. Since I was buying it from EntirelyPets, I just assumed it was safe for pets. After I opened it, I noticed it contains alcohol. Ugh. Now, I notice there is a different version for pets. I am out the cost of this item. Heck, even I avoid tinctures containing alcohol. So, please do make sure you are purchasing the correct item. I can't figure out why EntirelyPets stock the non-pet item.
Useless by Nedene from Brirish Columbia, Canada02/12/2013
This product was meant for HUMAN consumption and has 27% alcohol in it. My Vet said to throw it away. Waste of money.
Not helping... by reresunshine01/08/2013
I tried this product after reading alot of good reviews on it. I have an 18 yr old cat who constantly cries and needs attention. He's been vet checked and he is just needing attention all the time. I thought this would help him calm down some but after using it for a few nights....he was still the same....
excellent results by connie01/03/2009
have been using this on horses prior to travel, fireworks or anything which may excite, with excellent results. New years eve was peaceful for the first time! We put ten drops on a piece of bread and feed. lasts about six hours and take about an hour to work
Always keep it around by DoubleStarrFarm from Groveport, OH10/28/2013
I've been using Rescue Remedy for years. We have 5 cats and it seemed they all were going through their own little crisis all at once! One with allergies, one with a herpes flare-up, one stressed out from a trip to the vet for diagnostic tests. I ordered in a fresh supply and dosed up every water bowl in the house. I think i might try some myself! It does seem to sooth and calm the animals down and just take the edge off. I try to always have a bottle on hand.
Rescue it did! by Cedar10/08/2011
I have tried other products on my 2 cats and to no avail, but this product worked!! Everyone is at peace and going about there business. They would bully the other 2... so now, I put 2 drops in fresh water daily. Peace once again!
Tangy taste by Anndobe from Mishawaka, IN02/12/2012
My fear dog soes not care for the tangy taste of the drops. She now avoids me when I get the bottle out even though we always begin with positive reinforcement.
I use Bach Rescue Remedy for my 6 year old Bullmastiff. I got her after she'd been living on a farm in Estonia, Europe and she was skiddish to say the least! In order to be able to socialize and train her I needed her to focus and lower her stress levels so I could meet the German behavior testing requirements for owning this particular breed while living over there. It worked great and she passed with flying colors. Recently, we've relocated back to America and I use this product to help during the shuffling between family's homes and new rental.

Extremely disappointed by Lady from Virginia12/21/2010
The packaging and product itself were subpar. The eyedropper's rubber cap was cracked, and the glass part was crimped at the bottom, making it useless. Bought own eyedropper so I could use the product. Have not seen any change in dog's anxiety level or behavior. Emailed sales at entirely pets to notify them of faulty eyedropper and haven't heard back from the company to even say they would contact the manufacturer about quality control. Bad experience all-around.
It works! by Gems from Panhandle of Florida12/06/2011
My German Shep became very stressed when riding in the car; thunderstorms; loud, sharp noises. I found this product and gave it to her about 10 minutes before any of these stress situations occured, or even after as in the case of sharp loud noises. It is liquid, so she would lick it directly out of my hand, or I would put it on a treat. Worked great for her. Yesterday was her first trip to the groomers and I gave Bach Rescue Remedy to her about 20 minutes before we arrived. The groomer said she was a complete love! We like that it is all natural. The groomer wrote down the name for future reference, as did my veternarian when I took it to him to get his approval. Best EVER!
Dissapointed by Kathjg5108/12/2011
My cat is very skiddish. I can't brush her long fur, can't pick her up, can only pet her in ONE place--next to my chair, leaning over while she lays on the floor. I was hopefull this would help, since I can't even get her to the vet's office, but she smells it and runs. I can't even get it ON her! Maybe it's the alcohol, don't know, but guess it's hopeless for me. Too bad.

It Really Works! by Jersey Girl from Satellite Beach11/15/2010
My cat over-licks and creates bald spots. Also he hates having his nails clipped. Since he does have a history of biting, we're always a bit hesitant when we clip. We have found few drops on a cat treat about half an hour before clipping works wonders, and also a few drops in his drinking water causes him to over-lick a whole lot less.

Best Product! by question from Houston, Tx.12/14/2011
This is the best product to help calm your pets. 4 drops per pet & they're ready for a great nights sleep. I 1st tried this on 13 years old chihuahua who is terrified of thunderstorms. It's safe for cats, birds etc but I purchase the non-alcohol for them. This goes further for 3 dogs than the non-alcohol one. It's safe, it doesn't knock them out; it just calms them down. Excellent! The Bach's also have drops for kids as well as adults too.
Second purchase and always satisfied by storm trooper02/13/2012
My little dog is deathly afraid of thunderstorms and rain. She gets so anxious! I make her a bed in the bathroom and give her the natural remedy drops and within a short time she calms right down. We LOVE them!
Rescue in bottle by Peggy from Vancouver WA11/24/2011
I use this product for my cats when they are stressed or upset about something. It can be applied to their ears or put into their water bowl. It is a nice non-drug way to calm them down. It's also good for us humans too! And the Entirely Pets price beat the local store on this by several dollars.
Relief at Last! by Brynn11/25/2008
This product is great for introducing pets and relieving stress or hyperactivity (can also use for humans!)!
Our boy cat was becoming aggressive toward our smaller girl cat, so much so that we got a consultation from a behavioral vet who recommended Bach. Our cats love it. They will rub their whiskers against the eye dropper and lick it. We have noticed a change, which could be due to our Feeliway Diffusers in combination with Bach.
Rescue Remedy by Tn Ducki from Tennessee05/17/2013
This is a great stress reliever. Our Lab is very afraid of storms, especially when there's lightening. A few drops keeps him from visibly shaking and he settles down in just a few minutes. We've also tried the Rescue Treats and they work well also. It helps us feel better when he settles down during thunderstorms. Another plus -- humans can use this too!

I ordered Rescue Remedy from Entirely Pets and it worked great - the bottle is 20ml and has a paw print on the label I actually had a hard time finding the product that the label specified "PET". Since I ordered from Entirely Pets once with great success, I knew to go back to that site whenit came time to reorder.

I use this for one of my dogs who doesn't travel well in the car, and my other dog who is a rescue and is terrified of thunder and fire works. It works wonders. I do find that I have to give them more than it says on the bottle, Heidi gets 2 droppers full and Wulfgang gets 3 but it works and is worth every penny.
Great natural stress reliever by BichonLover03/18/2014
My dog panics when she has to go to grooming (even though her groomer is good and nice). I put Bach Remedy on her shoulders to absorb into the skin. My groomer says she can really tell the difference. No sedation; just a little relaxed.
It Really Helps by Pet Mom from Chicago, IL12/09/2011
I am the proud person for a scaredy-dog -- thunderstorms and more (wind, shadows, etc. ... oh my). I've tried many things. This helps. Not a magic cure-all but it definitely takes the edge off. I particularly like that it's so easy to get him to take it. And I also like it a lot that I can actually see his tenseness relax a bit.
Yes, but NO by Angelika05/12/2011
Rescue Remedy works. I believe that. BUT there are two forms of it, one made for humans, and one made for animals. The human version contains alcohol (toxic to animals) and should not be sold on this site for animals. Even though I informed customer service they have not pulled the product. I hope your pet does not get sick from it.

I have one Golden Retriever, a shelter rescue, who just absolutely terrified of fireworks and thunder storms. A vet tech suggested the Rescue Remedy. All I can say it is works well, takes the edge off, and keeps my poor big-boy from being completely terrified. I was purchasing at the local health food store, but found it for less money thru your website!
No problem with alcohol content by 27dogs1cat&nurse from Minneapolis, Minnesota08/29/2012
Flower essence remedies are extracted in alcohol. Given the tiny amount that you use for your dog or cat, this is not a problem. I am a nurse, and I hate pharmaceuticals due to the side effects. We know how many people, dogs, and cats are killed each year from pharmaceuticals. This is why, whenever possible, I use natural products such as standardized herbs, Bach flower remedies, and homeopathic remedies. I research everything THOROUGHLY, PRIOR TO USE. There are no problems associated with using this remedy with animals despite the alcohol. Those customers who write about these concerns are people who have not spent any time doing their research or contacting animal specialists who use these. If you are concerned, go to homeopet......contact them and ask your questions. Come on folks......QUIT BEING LAZY AND STUPID!

by I have no nick name05/12/2013
Total waste of money. Works as well as colored water. Not worth the bottle it's packed in.
Ok I did not know that it had alcohol in it until it arrived. I thought I'd give it a shot, but tried it today and my dog is still anxious. Possibly a little less, but after reading the ingredients its made of 27% alcohol. Poison to pets. Not an ingredient that should be in a pet product even in the slightest, and considering alcohol is a stress reliever....there ya go.

rehomed african grey by mama dee11/05/2012
After 19 months of slow progress, our ten year old rehomed african grey was still plucking, scared, anxious and very nervous. He would stand on one perch, never play, never touch his toys. Our vet recommended to try Rescue Remedy. After two weeks, we noticed small changes. After a month, this is like a different parrot. He has been playing with his toys, getting on the play stand, walking on the floor and interacting with us like he was brand new. He is starting to look happy for the first time. His chest doesn't quiver when we talk to him. This does help.

deceptive product description by cookielu1999 from So California01/06/2015
This product contains alcohol. Alcohol is considered a toxin to pets. Notice that ABSOLUTELY no where does this product's description tell you it contains 27% alcohol! no wonder it calms our pets. Hmm, odd how my last negative review of this product, and another person's have disappeared. I have reported the misleading product description to Entirely Pets and they told me they would fix the description - they have not done so. And why does an e-retailer with the name Entirely Pets carry human products anyway!?
Buyer beware when shopping at Entirelypest.com!
It helps; it depends on the situation and the animal.

My Morkie experiences severe separation anxiety when I leave and put her in her kennel. Bach Rescue Remedy takes the edge off and calms her down. She no longer throws herself around or deficates in the kennel. I love this product and have recommended it to many friends whose dogs experience some sort of anxiety.
Recue Remedy by Beki from Texas10/24/2011
I am currently using this product to help my little cat stay comfortable with acute renal failure. It calms his upset stomach, and keeps him comfortable. He has gained weight and vomits very rarely. The vet's recommendation was to get ready to put him down. Since he was happy and interacting with the other cats, I decided to try a few things myself. I recommend Rescue Remedy and Fancy Feast cat food to anyone who has the same thing going on. If he seems to be in pain I'll consider the vet's advice, but until then one drop twice daily seems to be working well.

I bought this product for a cat that sprayed and for one that was somewhat aggressive. It has worked for both of these cats. The spraying male is now a happy indoor only cat and the aggressive one has stopped attacking one of the others. I put this in the drinking water for both and all seem to be more relaxed and happy. Glad I found this product. And a few drops go a long way.
Best Product to calm your pet by paisleygirl57 from Houston, Tx.01/08/2014
I've used this product not only on rescue birds, cats and dogs but on my pets. I love that this can be hid in food (for my dogs: in tsp. of ice cream, cats: in dairy squirt topping), birds in water, rescues in food. I love it as works within 15 minutes you can see the animal calm down; it does not drug the animal just calms them. I highly recommend it for any pets with separation anxiety, approaching thunderstorms this calmed my 15 yr. old chihuahua, pom and cats. Best product and so easy.I prefer the alcohol free product for my pets. You won't go wrong with this product!

Rescue Remedy Pet WORKS. My two Siberian cats do not like their teeth cleaned. But our dental technician gives them a few drops of Rescue Remedy Pet and they are cooperative and do not get upset. Considering that they are both over 17 pounds and strong, not having them struggling makes the job possible, not just easier. That means no general anesthetic. Much healthier and much less expensive!

I cant be without Rescue Remedy Pets. I have 4 kitties & use RR often; for trips to the vet, during storms, etc. I also do cat rescue & this stuff is a Godsend for newly rescued kitties. It also works great for kitties who dont like to be groomed or have their nails trimmed. Relaxes them enough so they dont resist as much. And as always...Entirely Pets has the best price & super sonic shipping!

My 3-year-old tabby, Stan, has been stressed since we brought 9-week-old kittens home. Stan is moody/grouchy as it is, and the kittens really stressed him. I'll definitely reorder if Stan doesn't mellow out soon!
Excellent for all animals by Donna from Houston, Tx.02/08/2011
This is the best product I've ever used to help calm not only my pets, but also in helping with rescue/stray animals. It doesn't have a smell or taste (or so minimal we don't smell/taste it) because you know how finicky some can be. I use this with my cats, dogs, birds especially at grooming time. I do rescue animals & have for the past 18 years; I was so happy to have found this several years ago. I won't waste time or $ on other products as this is the best. You can put it in their food, water, or treat. Excellent!

Amazing!! by haykelley from Virginia10/23/2012
I cannot imagine NOT having this product in my home for my dog. I have a Pit Bull who is prone to siezures and no medication has worked so far. The vet recommended we keep some of this on hand for when she has one. If she has a siezure we give this to her and it helps her to calmly come out of it and if we notice the warning signs of one, we give her a dose and if she does have one it is extremely short or it just stops it all together. It has been a life-saver for us!
Remarkable by Shannon07/28/2009
At a higher dose than the suggested 4 drops, this product actually worked to calm all four of my dogs during the Independence Day fireworks. They were truly calm and not sleepy. My most reactive dog was fine going outside while the fireworks went off next door. Highly recommended, but please only get the "pet" version without alcohol for your dog.

Helps but not as much as I had hoped. by Kit-ten's Mom from Central Illinois10/09/2011
I think I had gotten my hopes up that this would be a miracle potion... Kit-ten is my 12 year old psycho rescue kitty that I have had since she was a tiny kitten. She has always been neurotic but had recently started licking the hair off her legs, stomach and had started on her sides. All vet results came back negative for anything so I thought I would try this after reading the testimonials and seeing mostly only good reviews.
It is helping her, as in she isn't licking nearly as much, but not as much as I had hoped. But I will say she is more calm now, and isn't as quick to bite (she had a really traumatic life before coming to live with us).
I will continue to buy this as it is helping to some extent and will recommend it to others.
Kit-ten seems to take it best when it is mixed into her canned food.
Really works! by Julie09/27/2013

Works Beautifully, Calms a Cat In Heat by Joseph from Albuquerque, NM03/21/2013
My normally sweet, playful female kitten was having a very rough time of it when she came into heat at seven months; grumpy, yowly, swatting and biting (she'd just moved out of a house with idiot roommates who picked on her, too. It was bad). I normally would've rolled my eyes at a product like this, but it really works. She loves the taste and eagerly laps it up, and likes having a drop rubbed on top of her little head, on the backs of her paws to lap at, or in the rough fur by her ears. We've found it a great help for everything from mildly stressful situations, to the epic dismay of a young cat in full, frantic estrus. Great stuff, and well worth the price.
We use this for our Greyhounds that are very afraid of storms. We have found it to help.

I love this product and my cats love it too. I add it to their food in the morning. Keeps them more relaxed through the day. Our youngest cat can be a terror without it. He will even try to lick it as I drop it on his food.
Absolutley fantastic by corky the yorky from South Carolina10/20/2012
Gave this to our Yorky on several occasions when we were traveling in the car, for long trips. He gets upset and nervous when we go long distances, but with a couple of drops of Rescue remedy, he is relaxed and calm, and a pleasure to have along.
There seems to be no, after affect, nor any adverse reactions to the product, and he is as bright and chipper as can be at 12 years old. :-)

I love the Bach's Rescue Remedy. We use it daily. Our one cat picks out the pieces of food that I put it on. They are much calmer and get along better with each other. Our youngest cat likes to rough up the older ones when he plays...he doesn't hurt them, but he he's young and likes to play hard. This product keeps him a little less crazy. :)
Great for travel, vet visits, or grooming stress by Dandysmom from Tennessee01/13/2013
I start giving my babies 3 drops in their food for a few days before travel, grooming, etc and it seems to help a lot.
