I ordered a collar to make my order over $25. I was only able to choose the color or the size but not both. I picked "blue" and got an XL which doesn't fit so I had to mail it back myself. Bummer.
It is billed as having a built in leash but the "leash" is only 1.5" long! It's more of a handle.

We have a 120 pound "baby", Arizona, and have had the collar for over 2 years. It has been wonderful for pulling her back from the door and just feeling like we have more control. It's more humane than pulling on a regular collar. It's been terrific! If it's strong enough to hold her back, it should work for almost anyone!

This is an all around great collar. Its easy to get a hold of your dog quickly without the risk of something snagging while he's playing. Its also a very nice looking collar.

This seemed like a great idea but the "control" portion of the collar is attached by elastic, and elastic just isn't very sturdy. If your dog pulls at all, the elastic will quickly break down. Mine only lasted for a few uses, although the collar part was sturdy and still usable as a plain collar. I used it for short-term quick grabs when my dog was off-leash and needed to be caught or held onto--such as walking in a parking lot from my car to an off-leash area). If you have a real puller or you're trying to hold onto your dog in a situation where he's really pulling hard (like trying to chase another animal or something) I would not trust this not to snap. I have since tried the Ballistic Dog Insta-leash bought on Entirely Pets and that is much safer, IMO, and everyone who sees it wants to know where I got it. I use it all the time. The downside to that product is that the metal snaps rust if your dog wears it in water or rain. This does not affect its strength/safety as a leash but since now it only has velcro to hold the leash portion in place on the collar when not in use, it sometimes doesn't stay the way it should.

this is a great collar for control, it is heavy and made very good. I got the orange for my Brittany and he looks so chic in it....I would not leave this collar on when the dog is crated, just in case, no collar should be left on a crated dog.....
