Staywell's 400 Series Magnetic Cat Doors provide security against intrusion by stray cats without requiring batteries or house current! The secret? The collar key itself is a stronger magnet that actually unlocks the flap allowing access by your pet but not by others'. This pet door is available in three colors--which is the only difference between the three model numbers. As the flap dimension is relatively large for a 'cat' sized door, the manufacturer feels it to be suitable for cats up to 15 lbs. You should make your own test. Naturally, as with all 'cat' doors, this one is perfectly suitable for small dogs as well. A 4-way lock is also included. Self-framing from 0"-2".
