CET HEXtra Premium Chews for Cats are fish flavored, bite-sized dental cleaning chews to be used as part of your cat's daily home dental care or a reward treat! HEXtra Premium Chews contains Chlorhexidine, which aids in reducing plaque and tartar build-up. Once your cat starts chewing, the antiseptic properties of the Chlorhexidine, combined with the chewing action; helps reduce plaque and tarter build-up on your cat's teeth. The effects of CET HEXtra Premium Chews for Cats can only be achieved with adequate chewing action, swallowing the chews whole will reduce the effectiveness and may be harmful to your cat.
Great IF your cat will eat them by Paula from DC09/02/2014
We've had two non-finicky cats refuse them entirely, one who loves them and another who would usually eat them but clearly preferred crunchy treats. If you can, get a sample from your vet to see if your cat will eat them before you invest in buying a bag.
Waste of money by mpa from Chicago Suburb06/28/2012
I have 3 cats that eat anything. They beg at the kitchen table for scraps and one of them drools watching us eat dinner.
NONE of my cats will even get past a sniff on these things. Not one of the "treats" was eaten, so instead of throwing them out, I took them to our local animal shelter.
I'm NOT happy because these things are NOT CHEAP!!

I heard these were supposed to be excellent for cats, but they are very expensive and neither of my cats will eat them... unfortunately.
keeps teeth clean! by tee04/13/2012
My vet removed 4 of my older cats teeth due to decay. My younger cat swallows his treats whole. Neither cat will let me brush their teeth, so these chews were a real help. Both cats get a work out when chewing them. Great help in avoiding extremely expensive pet dental visits!
Not worth it by Sasha10/23/2012
My cat would not eat this. I had to mix in kibble before he would start to eat. He ate all the kibble and left the premium chews. Tried this for a couple of days, same outcome.

Unfortunately, this product is costly and probably well worth the money and benefits, but my picky felines aren't interested in them at all...so what is one to do? Possibly coat them with an interesting and enticing smell to attract them, but you know how finicky they can be.

Finicky Cat Hated, Normal Cat Loved by carrblack from Spring, TX11/17/2012
My finicky cat will only eat one kind of food and one kind of treat. I bought these thinking she might like them, and she wouldn't eat them. I gave them to my daughter, and her cat loves them.
Not for my cats by PJ from Colorado06/07/2013
Neither of my cats would eat these. So I gave them to a friend and neither of her 2 cats would touch them. Must have a bad smell. I will stay with Greenies for my cats.
