Cheristin® for Cats is a topical flea treatment designed specifically for cats. Cheristin’s long-lasting formula protects against fleas through 6 weeks1 and is applied using a rounded tip applicator for comfortable, easy application. Cheristin comes in one dose size for all cats and kittens (1.8 lbs and greater or 8 weeks of age and older), making it great for families with multiple cats. Cheristin is available without a prescription.

Directions To kill fleas and prevent reinfestations, apply to cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older as follows: 1. Use only on cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 1.8 lbs. or more. Do not use more than a single dose on cats weighing greater than 20 lbs. 2. Remove one applicator tube from the blister package. 3. Hold the applicator tube in an upright position. 4. Press cap down until it clicks.(Indicating the tube has been punctured). Hold upright and remove the cap. Check to be sure there is an opening at the tip of the tube. 5. Part the hair on the neck at the base of the head until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube directly above the skin and squeeze the tube 2-4 times to expel the contents of the tube directly on the skin. For best results, apply at the base of the head, not between the shoulder blades. Avoid getting the product on your pet's mouth or eyes. Treatment at the base of the head will minimize the opportunity for the cat to lick the product. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product. (There may be a small residual remaining in the tube after a full dose is expelled. 6. discard empty applicator tube in the trash.

How to Apply Cheristin 1. Hold the applicator tube upright and press cap down until it clicks, indicating the tube has been punctured. 2. Remove the cap and make sure there is an opening at the tip of the tube. 3. Part the hair on your cat’s neck at the base of the head until the skin is visible. 4. Place the tip of the tube directly above the skin and squeeze 2-4 times to dispense the contents directly on the skin.

Other Application Tips

  • Do not use more than a single dose per month on an individual cat.
  • For best results, apply at the base of the head, not between shoulder blades.
  • Avoid getting Cheristin in your pet’s eyes or mouth.
  • Do not allow your cat to ingest Cheristin.

    I highly recommend this medication especially for places like "Savannah" where fleas are stubborn and hard to get rid of, but since using this product I have had 0 issues. I 100% highly recommend..... Have been a year user of this product

    It is good and i like that it does not have strong smell of other products. Have a real old cat and she has no problem using it. It seems to work but of course fleas are very hard to keep under control.

    We have 4 cats but the products we had used in the past for our flea problem quit working. We switched to Cheristin and it has done a great job getting rid of the fleas. Our cats are so much happier and no longer constantly scratching. We would recommend to give it a try.

    Wonderful product for eliminating fleas. I wish it lasted longer and that it was a bit easier to apply. Our cat seems to sense what's coming -- maybe she smells it -- and gets quite squirmy and it isn't the easiest thing to part the hair on her neck and apply the product.

    I've used Cheristin on my cats for about a year, and so far it has been effective at eliminating fleas in my multi-cat household. I only recently found EntirelyPets. They have the best prices, and orders have arrived fast with no issues at all. I recommend the product and the website.

    Best For My Sensitive Cats

    I had been searching everywhere for something to replace Activyl that was on back order indefinitely. I have 4 cats 3 of which are very sensitive to almost every kind of flea preventative med out there. So took a chance on Cheristin. Not one of the cats had a bad reaction to it. No fleas either. Was slightly greasy in their fur for a few days but not really a problem. Even when you follow directions and part the hair it is going to run a little so expect that but again not a problem. Will continue to use as it seems to be as good if not better than the Activyl.

    Vet said she thought the flea med I was using on my cat wasn't working very well and she recommended Cheristin. It has been amazing! Great product, great price from EntirelyPets and fast shipping.

    I have 6 cats in my household, 3 are mine and 3 taking care of for a friend. The cats I was taking care of where staying in my garage. A couple of months ago they became infested with fleas. One cat we almost lost had to take her to vet. She had so many fleas on her that the fleas sucked blood till she almost died. 3 days in the vets office and vet recommended Cheristin. Worked so well we use it on all the cats now.

    My Vet uses this--but---he said to only use 3 times then stop----so that is what I do---works great--better than any other thing out there--if you don't live where it freezes in winter, you have fleas---never had them in the mountains--and I had 35 cats---

    Solved my flea problem!

    I have 5 cats and had been a satisfied Revolution and Atvantage Multi user for years. Both products just quit working for my cats around 6 months ago. I tried several other products that were highly rated and nothing was working until I tried Cheristin. I've been applying monthly for 3 months now and no fleas since 1st applications. I'm sorry it doesn't address the other issues like Adv Multi and Revolution used to but at least the gang is flea-free once again. Also, no loss of hair or irritation at the application site which happened occasionally with the other products so that's great too.

    Best flea product I have tried on my cats; it's quite effective. Also, the odor is not as offensive as other flea meds and it does not seem to irritate their skin the way other products do. I highly recommend this product.
