Chlorhexiderm Flush is a topical wound dressing, antimicrobial cleansing and drying solution for use on dogs, cats and horses.
Contains .2% Chlorhexiderm Gluconate.
Indications: For general cleansing of such conditions where an antimicrobial formulation would be of benefit.
Ingredients: Water, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol, nonoxynol-12, PPG-12-PEG-50 lanolin, PEG-40 castor oil, chlorhexidine gluconate, fragrance, FD&C blue #1. May contain citric acid to ensure optimal pH.
Directions: Apply ChlorhexiDerm Flush liberally onto affected area. Use cotton or absorbent material to clean excess solution and debris from treated area. Repeat procedure once daily, if necessary, or as directed by veterinarian.

This is a great anticeptic product for cleaning wounds. I always keep it on hand! Also, for ear infections, I cut out any food that has wheat and corn - this clears up any ear infections within a couple of months. Too bad I found out too late for my cocker.

My Labrador, bred as a Guide Dog, had chronic ear infections (or so it seemed) that antibiotics never quite cleared up. But then his vet recommended using Chlorhexiderm Flush as a preventive, and now I only have to use it when his ears are dirty or bothersome (or, rarely, before applying Panalog) to keep the situation in control. I'm delighted with this product, which I've gotten through my vet until now.

This is a GREAT product -- we use it once weekly to prevent ear infections in our golden retriever. We use it more often when she swims and after a bath. It works!
