Chonlodin is a special dietary supplement for dogs that can help your pets maintain proper hyaluronan levels. Low levels of hyaluronan have been shown to lead to health conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, lameness, and more, so Chonlodin can help your pets overcome all of these issues.
Chonlodin Canine and Chonlodin Feline are the original choline-loading dietary supplements that are formulated to increase the bioavailable hyaluronan levels in your geriatric dogs and cats.
CHOLODIN contains sources of choline and posphatidylcholine, two of the most common phospholipids.
When present in sufficient dietary quantities, these components act as neurotransmitter precursors, which are chemicals manufactured and released by nerve cells that initiate the sending of "messages" from those cells.
Occasionally, geriatric dogs and cats display clinical signs unexplainable by a specific pathological diagnosis. Examples include:
Lethargy and reduced awareness of surroundings.
Poor coat; excessive shedding or thin, dry coat.
Chronic constipation or fecal incontinence.
Poor appetite; animal eats too little to maintain an adequate body weight.
Poor mental acuity.
For animals displaying one or more of these conditions, choline supplementation with CHOLODIN® may be a very effective aid in treatment.
CHOLODIN has four major functions:
1. It is a significant dietary factor in preventing fatty-liver syndrome in diabetic dogs.
2. It can donate methyl groups needed to synthesize other compounds.
3. It is necessary for acetyl-choline formation.
4. It is a component of phospolipid and lecithin, and a constituent of plasmalogens, which are abundant in mitochondria and in sphingomyelin, found particularly in the brain.
Formulated with a flavor base (Pork Liver Meal).
Dosage and Administration: Usual Daily Dose: Cats and Small Dogs ½-1 tablet ¼-½ teaspoonful Large Dogs 1-2 tablets ½-1 teaspoonful The tablets may be fed by hand or crumbled and mixed with food.
Active Ingredient(s): CHOLODIN® contains: Phosphatidylcholine (from soy lecithin), choline (as chloride), dl-methionine, inositol, zinc (as oxide), niacinamide, vitamin E, thiamine (mononitrate), riboflavin, pyridoxine (HCl), selenium (sodium selenite), vitamin B12 (cobalamin concentrate), and dexpanthenol. Formulated with a Liver Meal (Pork) flavor base.

These really work. by Lu Rae from Martinsburg, WV07/29/2012
Our vet. prescribed these and they have made all the difference for our dog. They think she has degenerative myleopathy. Her back legs were buckeling under her and after taking these with other supplements she can now get around alot better.
Cholodin is the Bomb! by Texter from Houston, TX06/19/2013
These supplements have truly helped our 'golden retriever' with alertness & agility. She's 12 & was suffering with periodic seizures/anxiety. She was 1st put on Pheno (1/2 tablet) for a few months but since starting on Cholodin - she has been seizure free for months & even brings us her frisbee once in a while! Amazing improvement. She's more alert as well! Recommended! :-)
Definitely Helps with Dementia by Dog Owner05/21/2013
My dog has suffered from dementia as he has gotten older. We've had 16 great years and counting! Initially my vet recommended Anopryl and this worked great but was very expensive. My vet recommended supplement alternatives like Novafit, but most of these have been ineffective alternatives. Cholodin has been the best supplement to help with his disorientation. It is more long-term (I give it twice daily) but after a month I was gradually seeing improvement. And although I still use Novafit together with the Cholodin when the dementia gets really bad, this second supplement is only used on a rare occasion. I walk him twice a day and even the neighbors have noticed his improvement!

An outstanding product with top notch customer service. I spoke with a rep. from MVP, the company that makes Cholodin, prior to ordering these tablets. A two week sample was shipped from her office to my home Priority Mail as well as a hyaluronic acid gel supplement for joint issues.

Works well by KLKS from Baltimore, MD04/03/2013
I have a. 15 year old dog and since taking it for about a month she is more alert and awake during the day. She doesn't run into things the way she used to and she doesn't get surprised as easily. She still wets in the house but not as frequently. Overall I have noticed a marked improvement, so if u have an old dog it's worth a try and reasonably priced.
So far, so good.... by Lady Bee from San Diego CA01/16/2012
My previous Welsh Terrier suffered with canine Alzheimer's so badly, we had to put him to sleep. I adopted a 6 year old Welshie a year ago and started him on Cholodin Canine right away, as a holistic vet recommended they be started at age 5 for dogs and cats. Obviously, I don't know how they will affect my pets later in their lives, but I will say that my new Welshie, now age 7, has the drive and spirit of a puppy, races his 2-year old doggie friends and wins, and he's a sharp one. He also thinks his Cholodin tablet is a treat!
cholodin by peggy02/12/2012
Can't really rate the effectiveness as the odor turns my dog off- even when crushed and mixed with his food. I had great hopes as it came highly rec. I have occassionally gotten part of a tablet- I break into 1/4s -down when burried in meat-but still is able to spit it out. Any ideas?

Symptoms significantly reduced! by Studyinblue from Illinois03/03/2013
It took about 7-10 days to really notice a difference, but my 16-1/2 year old mini-schnauzer is having significantly fewer moments of crying, staring at nothing, wandering around like he's lost, not knowing his name when called, etc. Physically he's been in fantastic shape for his age, but his mind was slipping. Now he's much better mentally and I can hold off on medication. Wish I had found this 6 months ago!
Stops the shakes by MamaJI from Oregon08/04/2012
Our 15 year old Border Collie has bad hips. She has problems with trembling legs. The Vet recommended Cholodin. He was charging us $20.00 a bottle. I found the same product on Entirely Pets for only $10.00. The product works great...Lacey no longer has problems with the trembling legs.
Excellent product for older dog by Aussie owner from Pittsboro NC10/30/2012
I have used Cholodin on several aging dogs and have found it helps delay old age congnitive issues. My current older girl still runs agility at age 13 and I really think Cholodin helps keep her mentally focused.
Cholodin - Super Geritol for Pets by Dee from Louisiana11/21/2011
This supplement helped give my elderly pit-mix a much better quality of life as he aged - almost 16 when he died. Now it is giving my retriever mix an excellent quality of life - she'll be 17 in December. It helps with cognition, mobility, seems to benefit the liver, and just over all improves the ability to enjoy their elder days. The cat version is great for the elder felines in your world as well. I'll keep on using it when my other dog, a corgie mix, starts pushing his "oldie-goldie" days.
Great by MS04/24/2008
My dog was on Phenobarbital for seizures and then developed urinary incontinence, I read about Cholodin and started supplementing him with that, and weaning him off the phenobarbital. He has not had a seizure since he has been off the pheno. That has been about 2 months, and he no longer has the urinary incontinence.
Not good for Chihuahua's by hlock99 from Bucks County, PA11/17/2011
I bought this product for my 11 yr old mini Dachshund and gave 1/4 tablet to my 8 yr old Chihuahua and within les than 24 hrs we were running her to the emergency vet. She had Pancreatitis. We almost lost her. My Dachshund is fine but I would never recommend this product or use it again. BE CAREFUL!
seems to help megaesophgus by Liz07/04/2012
Our dog has a great deal of regurgitation associated with mega esphagus. Cholodin is one of the recomended natural treatments. It may or may not help-in our case luckly it worked wonders. We notice right away if his daily dose is late or missed.

My female husky has had diabetes for several years. We've battled several complications with her eyes, starting with cataracts and, long after cataract removal and myriad other issues and treatments, culminating with complete blindness. We test her blood sugar and give insulin twice daily. Through it all, she's been absolutely amazing, accepting each treatment with ease, and maintaining a terrific attitude toward things. People comment how easily she gets around, how amazingly she deals with challenges, and how happy she seems.

Miracle vitamin! by chillysmomma11/06/2012
My 11yr old Chihuahua no longer has seizures thanks to Cholodin. She takes 1/4 a day so the bottle lasts a long time. I have seen no side effects and she even seems to have more energy since being on them. A great, healthier, cheaper alternative to the harmful drugs other vets may recommend for seizures. I can't say enough good things about it. And Entirely Pets delivers them to me 2 days after I order!!

My 12 year old vizsla has difficulty sleeping at night. He'd be awake, and he wouldn't remember how to go out the dog door, or how to get back in, and he'd need to go out several times a night. Sometimes he'd stand on the floor, stare at the bed and bark, but he didn't really know what he wanted. I wasn't getting any sleep due to his nocturnal restlessness.

Makes my dog restless by CherylD from Floroda07/07/2012
I gave my 15 yr old, 7 pound poodle 1/8 of the pill. It made her restless at night and she could not sleep. I stopped, then started with one dose about 3-4 weeks later. Same result. It is a waste of money for me. Maybe it helps larger dogs.
My vet recommended this supplement after our Australian shepherd mix had a couple of grand mal seizures. We changed his diet to grain free and rosemary free (something I had read online that can cause issues in dogs prone to seizures) and added this supplement on a daily basis and our guy has been seizure free for over a year. He loves to take these like a chewable vitamin and so far so good :)

Cholodin WORKS! by Jon B09/13/2008
This stuff is terrific. My wonderful 11 year-old lab, who never had a behavior problem started pooping in the house. He couldn't control his bowels. It was like he didn't know he had to "go" and would walk around with turds dropping. After three days on Cholodin, the problem was solved...and he seemed to be a little more alert. This stuff is for real.
GREAT PRICE by CHELCE from CO03/05/2013

Great for Neurological Distemper Survivor! by martinzgk from Texas10/31/2012
We have a puppy that survived neurological distemper. She devloped tremors as a result of the disease. Our vet recommended Cholodin to supplement her diet and improve her neurological function. We saw mprovement within the first week. She still has tremors but to a much lesser degree. She is able to walk one and a half miles without problems which was not possible 2 months ago. I just ordered a years supply for her. I am so happy to have found out about this supplement. I would definitey recommend this product.
Cholodin by Caseysmom from Ohio11/15/2012
Maggie had been on Neutrix on the recommendation of my vet, but they charged $55 a bottle (30 days worth). They did seem to work, but along with her Rimadyl, her pills were getting very expensive. After extensive research, I found Cholodin and read the reviews. She has been on it for about 30 days and she is continuing to respond. She is bright, alert and no more "where am I" looks. Great product.
It really works! by Kathy10/24/2012
I'm a dog rescue that works with senior dogs and have found this product to be very helpful. We've had 4 more quality years from our current senior than we ever expected.
Wonderful Product by DogMomInTN from Tennessee11/22/2011
Our 18+ year old mixed breed dog has been using this for over a year now. It has made a huge improvement in his quality of life. He had been having frequent episodes of confussion and fear. The Cholodin seems to calm him and make him more alert. He's much happier now.
Seems to be helping our boy. by 3greytkids from North Bend, WA03/11/2013
We have our two senior greyhounds on Cholodin. for help with a bit of dementia. I believe our older boy is being helped by this supplement because he seems more alert and aware of what is going on around him. We plan to continue give this to both seniors until the end.
Cholodin/Entirely Pets by Abitabb from Louisiana05/07/2013
It is a fabulous under-rated and under-used product. The research shows it helps the nerve synapsis start communicating again thus helping with dog/cat old age symptoms such as bladder control, mental, etc. It also helps the mychodrial sheaf (the covering of the nerves) heal. I have used it with 4 elderly pets now and some not so elderly because one of the benefits is control of epilepsy which worked fantastic for my retriever mix. The choline in it protects the liver of pets from the bad effects of anti-inflammatories and nsaids for arthritis. Entirely Pets has the best price, but they have issues with their receiving order/payment department unless you use a credit card. They do not accept paypal (big minus) and unlike anything else I send via mail all over the US and even internationally it takes up to 4 weeks for them to credit a mail order. I am a forensic accountant - there is a problem in their accounting department, not US mail - this is peculiar to them. Nothing - not even to my friends in Australia - takes 4 weeks to arrive. It is a consistent problem there at Entirely Pets. Other than that, great service once you're credited with what you mailed a month prior. Great prices especially on this product - just plan to order ahead at least 2 months to cover for their lack of timely accounting.
