Crananidin Urinary Tract Support is a scientifically formulated cranberry extract product. It's given to help support urinary tract health in dogs. Crananidin's cranberry extract contains compounds called "proanthocyanidins" or "PACs". These PACs work to help stop certain bacteria from "sticking" or attaching to the inner lining of the bladder wall allowing the bacteria to be flushed out in the urine.
Crananidin has been researched, and its PACs have been shown to limit the attachment of the bacteria. The same cannot be said for other cranberry supplements marketed for urinary tract health in dogs. These other supplements were found to contain some PACs, however, their PACs were not able to stop the bacteria from sticking.

A good product for aging dogs by Ego from Edison, NJ04/08/2012
My dog is approaching the 15 year mark and has developed a penchant for getting bladder infections even though environmentally nothing has changed. She also began peeing in the house. The supplement has helped knock out the constant infections and lessened the in house/urgent peeing. I have been using the product for 6 months now on the recommendation of my vet.
Crananidin by jeanne from Texas03/05/2012
My dog was piddling his urine in what appeared to be the begginnings of a prostate infection. I gave him the Crananidin and by the time I got him to the vet 5 hours later, it was cleared up! Even the vet was impressed.
