You can manipulate the bug; let it perch silently and suddenly start fluttering its wings. You can make it take off and fly. You can move it slowly while your cat prepares to pounce! The cord is long enough that you can stay hidden if you choose. Don't allow your cat to chew on or swallow the bug.
Assembly
1.) Start at the handle end, carefully put together each section of the tube while keeping the cord inside the tubes. Each section fits snugly together.
2.) Avoid bending or creasing the cord.
3.) Push the power source (paw print on handle). Bug will flutter and create noise.
4.) Move the wand to create movement your cat will follow.

Very upset that I never got my cat toy. 3 weeks went by and no toy. I finally had to cancel my order. I couldn't even talk to a live person. I was put on hold for a long time and than went to answering machine to leave a message.

Great toy for kittens and older cats. Their favorite toy was the fishing reel until I bought this. I rest the "bug" on the floor and make it's wing flutter and as the cats get close, I fling it in the air simulating a real bug flying off and they go nuts!

My cat cannot get enough of this toy. I have gotten MANY toys over the years, but she responds to this as to NO others, hands down. I have even given some away, and their response is the same as mine--it IS the best. It makes noise, flys around and keeps her attention.

I bought one of these and though my cats loved it, it broke after a week. Sucker me bought another one since my cats had loved it so much. Guess what this one broke after two days. I was very careful not to pull on it, but it still broke. Oh well, good concept, poor design!
