The panel features heavy-duty aluminum construction with a corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish, as well as shatter-resistant tempered safety glass for clear visibility. The unit adjusts to fit openings between 76-3/4 inches to 81 inches, and its spring-loaded self-adjusting design installs with no cutting required. Another thoughtful detail includes a reversible lock that makes it possible for installing into right- or left-closing sliding doors, and the security cover may be installed on either side. In addition, the panel's 2-inch rise (the distance between the floor and the bottom of the door opening) allows for short-legged dogs to easily pass through.
