Dermazole is a medicated shampoo for dogs, cats, and horses. It contains miconazole an antifungal that works to reduce fungus and yeast on the skin, and salicylic acid to help reduce skin scaling and excessive oiliness. Dermazole is gentle, antiseptic cleanser that helps in the treatment of certain dermatological conditions like seborrheic dermatitis. If your pet has been diagnosed with a skin condition, your veterinarian may prescribe a medicated shampoo like Dermazole as a part of treatment.

Miconazole 2%, Salicylic acid 2%.
Useful Information
Shake well before each use. Wet coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage Dermazole shampoo into wet coat and lather freely. Allow to remain on hair for 5-10 minutes, the rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Repeat initially two to three times a week for four weeks, then reduce to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Fantastic product

It was the only one keeping the infection out, and the coat became full, velvety and shiny. No dandruff appeared later or extra sebum production as happens often in case of other shampoos. I am desperate to hear that it is on back-order and even can be discontinued. In short, it seems that the future of this great product is uncertain and we could not find anything to replace it.

The only one that helped fight a very ugly and persistent fungal infection. Skin and fur gets incredibly healthy and renewed.
Fantastic, I would never have believed that a shampoo will help where all fancy , expensive oral and topical medication have failed.
I would recommend this product in any skin/fur problems and also just for a simple maintenance of a healthy condition.

I have been looking for a medicated shampoo that stops my Golden Retriever for chewing her paws and scratching. This works like magic. I used to have to "bribe" her to get into the shower and now as soon as I pick up her "dog towels" she make a bee-line to the bathroom. Plus her coat is soft and clean for several days, despite our hikes in the nearby hills. I couldn't be more pleased.

Dermazole is the only anti-itch shampoo we've found that works to relieve the bumpy itchy skin on our little wire fox terrier Stella. My dog has food and environmental allergies leading to fungal and yeast infections of the skin. I shampoo her every 8 to 10 days with Dermazole and she is symptom free. Could not live without this shampoo!

This shampoo was reccommended to me by my veterinarian. My dog has very yeasty skin which makes him itchy and miserable. This shampoo helps to keep the yeast in check and makes my boy a bit happier.

I think I finally found a shampoo for Teddy, Cocker Spaniel, that helps with his skin problems! Thanks to a review I read I bought this along with the Resi Ketochlor lotion and they seem to work great! Within the first day I noticed the huge scab on top of his head was going away! Hurray! Teddy has yeast problems and is allergic to grass, dirt, trees. I adopted him without any knowledge of his allergies and it has been an expensive learning experience.

Dermazole's ingredients work better than the shampoo my current vet recommended in controlling yeast/fungus and bacteria on my dog's skin. For lasting effects, I use the ResiKetoChlor Leave-In Lotion along with it. I've tried others but this works best! It's well worth the money. I would give it more stars if I could.

This product like other good shampoos that I have used on my pig Wilbur have been ok for his scaly skin. Honestly it has not been any different than other medicated shampoos as far as cleaning him better. I find it a little on the expensive side for what it is, but the vet reccomended it. I may try others in the future

Really works on flaky dogs

I don't mean flaky as in crazy, but with dandruff. My APBT has dandruff and flaking like crazy during the cooler weather, moderate during the warm weather.
Dermazole shampoo controls the flaking, even a week or more after the bath. A great solution to that pesky dandruff problem!!
