This patented, pleasant smelling, acetic acid/boric acid shampoo is a revolutionary breakthrough in topical dermatology therapy. Modeled after the widely accepted DermaPet Ear/Skin Cleanser and the gentle, elegant DermaPet Hypo-A Allergenic Conditioning Shampoo, it is all natural and contains no soaps, dyes or animal protein. Acetic and Boric Acids have been used since medieval times for various maladies. Acetic acid is a known conditioner for hair leaving it clean, soft and lustrous while removing soap, scales, dandruff and other residue. This product is keratolytic, keratoplastic, deodorizing, de-skunking, degreasing arid should be a substitute for Benzoyl peroxide, sulfur/salicylic acid, tar, chlorhexidinc and ether products. MalAcetic may do to the shampoo market what Frontline and Advantage did to flea dips, collars and sprays.
Super Shampoo! by Anjsmiles from Georgia04/21/2011
I can not say enough good about this shampoo! When we got our little Yorkie Lhasa mix he had terrible dandruff and itchy skin that was only made worse when the groomer tried bathing him in oatmeal shampoo. The next time she groomed him she used this product and it completely cleared up his skin! I bought a bottle from her to use on him at home. She moved away and I had to find another groomer. When the new groomer tried what she said was a hypoallergenic shampoo the same thing happened - I got an itchy dog. I searched on the internet and found this shampoo and started it ordering it online. I take it with me now to my groomer. The soapless formula still lathers up some, rinses out well and leaves the dog smelling nicely clean without a heavy perfumed smell. It has a very faint hint of apple smell to it when shampooing but nothing that lingers on the dog. His coat is so soft and shiny. Our vet said this shampoo is better to use as well because its soapless formula will not wash out the Advantage or Frontline as quickly as soap shampoos do. I LOVE this shampoo and tell everyone who has a dog with skin issues to try it.
