This little comb has helped me get rid of the fleas on my cats. I'm using it in conjuction with Frontline Plus and Sipotrol spray. It helps me find the ones that are left and is a good indicator of whether you have the problem licked. One of my cats has very dense fur and still had some fleas after repeated applications of Frontline. You have to devise a system for killing any fleas that you comb off.
flea comb by lieper12 from Nashville, TN12/07/2012
I very much like this flea comb because it doesn't involve a handle so it's easier to use and the teeth don't bend at the end with combing/ The size is comfortable in the hand and is easy enough to manipulate for small areas or combing an area such as the back. So, the product itself is terrific. Beyond that, it is far cheaper than the weighty combs. Finally, this flea comb is no easier to lose or harder to find than other flea combs.
my cats hate it! by carolyna from Davis, ca01/15/2012
Although I like the size of the comb, the teeth are not straight (came out of the package this way) and do not allow the hair to pass through. It pulls on the hair, taking clumps of it out, and hurting the cat. Getting groomed should be a pleasant experience, not painful!
I've never used one of these, so I'm not sure if it does what it's supoosed to. My rabbit does not like it.
Don't Waste Your Money by Sue from Syracuse, NY11/28/2012
Now is the time of year when my dog is shedding his summer coat and leaving globs of hair every where he goes. I borrowed a neighbor's shedding blade and was very impressed with how easily it got the even the undercoat sheddings. Plus my dog didn't seem to mind it as much as a regular brush. I ordered this product so I could have my own. What I got was a cheap piece of junk that I can't even use. The handle isn't held together by its rivet properly so there isn't any rigidity as I pull the blade over the dog's coat. I even tried using very short strokes and that didn't work. Plus the serrated edge wasn't deep enough to capture his thick fur. The result was very little fur being collected, an annoyed dog and an even more annoyed owner. Don't waste your money on this product. Once again, you get what you pay for,
goes through my cats fur to cut out all but the worst mats. much better than "furminator", which won't go through my cats' fur at all.
I'm even more handsome by Meatloaf12/16/2012
My mommy bought the shedding blade to help make my beautiful coat even more beautiful.I like the way it feels when she combs my fur, and I do look very handsome.
does your dog shed? by mvl08/15/2012
we have an australian shepherd and a lab - need i say more? this is a wonderful tool for removing that loose undercoat in both dogs. i take them far from the house on a breezy day and they shed several small animals worth of fur. (i have found their hair in several bird nests which is rather fun.) this tool works great, better than any other shedding tool i have ever used and i have tried them all!
I have found these to be the best of the slicker brushes. Firm for the tough coats. Doesn't break like some of the others.
not for light coated breeds by groomergirl09/27/2010
The pins on his brush are short and harsh, only suited for very thick coats.I find they dont get down to the skin. As a professional groomer my personal favorite is the Paw Brothers double sides soft slicker.
This vacuum/brush truly works. I have two pugs, a breed that sheds 24/7/365. Their main activity is growing fur. Two kinds: a medium and coarse outer layer and a cozy down layer underneath. The Groomair keeps the household fuzzies to a minimum. The Boyz love to be groomed. They sit down when they see the brush/vac come out and enjoy every minute of it. The best part for me is that after brushing, you pop off the face of the Groomair and the fur just slides off. No having to work it out from between bristles.

Disappointed by Sugar from Southern California02/07/2013
This product sounds like a great idea and I was excited to try it out on my border collies. However, I was disappointed with the performance of the product and it was not suitable for my dogs' longer coats.
Millers Forge Vista Matt-Remover Comb by Frienchee04/17/2012
I would not recommend buying this comb because it doesn't work to well. It does not break up the matts in the fur like it is suppose to. The comb blades are dull and it does not go through the matted fur at all! Not a good product to buy!
best comb ever by lil Lynnie from Phoenix, AZ01/07/2013
I had this comb from another source before. I had to get a new one. the source no longer carried this product. I was very happy to find it at your site. It is the best comb I have ever found. I am amazed how well it works and my cat doesn't mind it at all. It is very gentle.
Great price good product. by BandoHeathensMom from Kenbridge, VA12/25/2012
I've searched for a shedding comb to replace one that I loved that finally gave out after many years. I didn't want to pay a lot for one that I might not like. This one is not quite the same, but the price was GREAT for a good overall products.
Great comb by AmazingGracie from Oakland, CA11/24/2012
I already have a brush and a furminator -- so I thought this comb might have been overkill -- but it's a really handy comb to have around. It captures the undercoat hairs well and is gentle, so my dog tolerates being combed much better than her usual brushing routine.
Perfect product! by Redathena2810/23/2012
I have two cats- one medium/long hair and the other short hair. Only the long hair cat likes being combed usually, but after buying this comb they adore it! Its a special "treat" they love having done and the shorter hair cat loves the way it feels on her skin/fur too. but doesn't irritate the way most combs/brushes do for pet fur. It's gentle but still effective in ridding future shedding layers. A "must buy!"
Disappointing by Judester from Roseville, CA10/23/2012
Not that easy to use. My cats love to be brushed with the wire brushes, but not this one. Only one of the 4 cats will tolerate it. It tends to catch and doesn't go smoothly through the fur. The old flat style brush is better.
