Description
Epi-Otic ADVANCED Ear Cleanser is a non-irritating ear cleanser formulated with anti-adhesive glycotechnology to prevent microbial attachment. Patented anti-odor technology eliminates ear canal odor. This product is recommended for pets with chronic otitis externa and for routine cleansing of sensitive ears. Contains 0.2% salicylic acid in a cleansing solution with a mild citrus aroma.

Removes debris and excessive wax and dries the ear canal.
Recommended for pets with chronic otitis externa which is chronic inflammation of a dogs external ear canal.
It has a low pH, so it shouldn't interfere with other ear preparations.
Ingredients
Active: Salicylic Acid 0.2%. Also Contains: Disodium Edta, Docusate Sodium, Pcmx, A Monosaccharide Complex (L-Rhamnose, D-Galactose, D-Mannose), and FD&C Blue #1.
Useful Information
Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleanser may be used to cleanse ear canals with severe otitis externa or prior to administration of other ear preparations in the treatment of otitis externa. It may be used in dogs and cats of any age.
Shake well before use. Turn the white nozzle to open the product and then apply liberally into the ear canal. Gently rub the base of the ear and then wipe the interior of the ear flap with cotton or a cloth moistened with Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleanser.
Use from two to three times a week to daily for routine use, before each ear treatment in the case of otitis externa, or as directed by your veterinarian.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Keep out of reach of children. For animal use only.
HAZARDS TO ANIMALS: For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush eyes, and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not use in ears with ruptures tympanic membranes (eardrums).

I have been using this product for over 15 years. It used to be available only through the vet, but so glad i can now purchase online. Easy to use, no smells, non greasy, and keeps your pet's ears clean!

This cleanser is what my Vet carries at a higher
price. I always keep it on hand for my allergy dog
that constantly has ear flare ups. It works great!

Good for a dog's ear problems

We use this product weekly as an ear flush for our dog that has had ongoing ear infections since she was a puppy (She's now 9). That gets followed the next day, weekly, by an ear medicine. Our other younger dog gets a flush weekly just to maintain good ear health and prevent problems. This produce was recommended by a canine dermatologist who deals with ear/skin/allergy problems.

My dog has had a a very stubborn ear infection for nearly a year now. During this time we've gone thru several cleaners in combination with several antibiotic meds. This has been the best of the cleaners because it is more drying than others which has been a great help. We're finally seeing improvement by combining this cleaner with Surolan...

I have a yellow lab that has had chronic ear problems since he was a juvenile, and he is 8 years old now. When I first took him to the vet, they gave me Epiotic and antibiotic cream to deal with the infections. The vet also suggested cleaning his ears with the Epiotic routinely and especially after swimming or getting water in the ears. This stuff works well to help dry the ears and keep infections away. We just use it a couple times a week and after he goes swimming and have not had any problems. Sometimes he will start shaking his head like his ears are bothering him so we use the Epiotic and problem solved. It works much better than a vinegar/water solution or any other product we have tried.

Keeps her ears clean and smelling wonderfully fresh. I usually put the bottle in a tub of warm water first so the liquid isn't so cold in her ear.
She's not a big fan of the process but her ears and clean and problem free so I'm a big fan!

Because Max is a Cocker Spaniel, he seems to create a lot of buildup quickly. It would hurt to see him clawing at his own ears, without apparent relief. But this formula works quickly and efficiently. Now he scratches to get me to nuzzle behind his ears...LOL Thanks so much!
