Equus Stable Treatment is a biological treatment for stables to reduce ambient ammonia levels.
Ammonia has a major impact on the health and performance of horses. It irritates the lungs and nasal passages and prolonged high levels of exposure can cause permanent damage which may lead to respiratory disease or other illnesses.
Ammonia is generated in bedding by the action of certain microorganisms on the urine produced by the horse.
Equus Stable Treatment contains a biological preparation that can remove ammonia present in the bedding as well as inhibiting the further microbial production of ammonia from urine.
Application:
Dilute ¼ cup of Equus Stable Treatment in 2 quarts of warm water, or suitable volume as necessary. Apply this solution by a sprayer to entirely cover the new bedding in each 12 x 12 foot stable or stall. Ensure that all liquid is used on each application. Do not store liquid mixture in sprayer.
Repeat the treatment on a weekly basis or more frequently as required, depending upon conditions.
May also be used in trailers at the same application rate.
