My 13 year old cat, Dakota, has severe megacolon. His routine for over three years consisted of 2-3 trips weekly to the vet for a "manual extraction" of his stool, plus IV fluids to replace those that were being sucked out of him by the impacted stool. He also had a feeding tube in place to give him his medicine (not a good patient when he's miserable) Even with our "preferred customer" discount, this was obviously becoming a costly endeavor, but I was willing to pay it since he is worth it. my cat has IBD and this stuff is amazing. we were starting to end up at the vet every couple of weeks cuz she would get so stopped up inside...and now no problems at all! thank goodness for this food!
