It works as far as temperature is concerned. Kind of hard to read unless you have light directly on it. Still happy with it.

Entirely Pets does not stock this item. I will not be ordering from Entirely Pets in the future. Not only was this item unavailable, but the other item I ordered was not available either???? Worst of all-they charged my cc & waited 2 weeks to tell me the items were unavailable.
Featured Reviews for Fluval M300 Submersible Glass Aquarium Heater (300 watts)
I thought this heater would be fully submersible. It is not. The top needs to be out of the water. With the lip of the top around my aquarium to hold the glass top on it makes it impossible for this heater to work. Plus, I do not keep the water line down below the top trim. Very disappointed. Still don't have fish as I still need to go out and buy another heater. :(
Easy to use
My old heater that I was replacing did not have an actual temperature gauge on it. This fluval I set to about 75/76 and in 3 hours the 55gallon tank was at 77 degrees and has stayed that way for the last 3 weeks. Seems to hold the temperature. Works fine
