Effective Flea & Tick Control . . . No Prescription Required!
Kills Fleas

FRONTLINE Top Spot Blue for Dogs 23-44 lbs is a powerful and easy-to-use formula designed to quickly and effectively kill fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. FRONTLINE Top Spot is specially formulated for dogs and puppies over 2 months of age or older, weighing between 23 and 44 lbs. Do not reapply FRONTLINE for 30 days.

Quickly Kills Fleas, Ticks, and Chewing Lice
Kills Ticks

Frontline contains the active ingredient fipronil that effectively targets fleas, ticks and chewing lice. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity

Waterproof Formula

Thanks to its waterproof formula, FRONTLINE Top Spot won't rinse off when you give your dog a bath or when your dog goes for a swim. The active ingredient in FRONTLINE, fipronil, is stored in the natural oils in your dog's coat, so your pet is sure to stay protected no matter how many puddles he or she tramps through.

This FRONTLINE Top Spot product is EPA approved and registered. It's guaranteed to be the exact same product sold by your Veterinarian. Click here for more information on EPA-approved pet products.

Usage Info

How FRONTLINE Top Spot Works

Use FRONTLINE TOP SPOT for fast-acting, long-lasting flea and tick control. When you apply FRONTLINE, fipronil, the active ingredient, is stored in the oil glands under your pet's skin. It's then distributed continuously to the skin and hair of your pet through the hair follicles. This way, FRONTLINE provides waterproof, month-long protection against future pests while breaking down the flea and tick life cycles.

Simple Three-Step Application

Applying FRONTLINE TOP SPOT to your pet is an easy three-step process. First, remove the Frontline Top Spot applicator from the child-resistant package and cut or lift off the plastic tab to expose the foil and then peel the foil down. Next, hold the applicator upright and away from your face and body and snap off the tip. Finally, place the Frontline Top Spot applicator tip on the skin between your pet's shoulder blades and squeeze the applicator to apply the entire contents in a single spot onto your pet's skin.

To prevent harm to you and your pet, read the entire label and enclosed directions before each use. Follow all directions and precautionary statements carefully.

Fipronil is a manufactured insecticide that works on a cellular level on adult fleas and ticks. It seeps into an insect's cells and blocks chlorine molecules from passing through. This stops the nervous system from working and paralyzes the insect.

Fipronil kills adult fleas and ticks on contact or when consumed, and it can be spread from one insect to another.

Because fipronil is so strong, it only needs to be applied once a month to continuously kill fleas and ticks. Once it is applied with an oily liquid to keep it on the skin of your dog, it slowly seeps into the hair follicles and oil glands where the fleas and ticks live.

10 Years Old-Not One Flea by One Lucky Dog Owner from Bloomfield Hills, MI09/11/2013

In the 10 plus years I have owned my dog, she has never had one flea. She has been on Frontline's Top Spot the entire time. This is a great product. Too bad I hear that the manufacturer's are discontinuing it.

PAST Frontline Topspot Lover by sheltielover from Upstate, New York01/18/2013

I live in the cold northeast region. I used to have a Jack Russell. Used Frontline on her for 14-1/2 years. Worked great then. Used Topspot on my Sheltie for the first 4 years of her life, but since the winter of 2011-2012 was so warm the fleas never died over the winter & seem to be a superbreed. Frontline no longer works on my Sheltie. I am bummed. For the first time in my life (& my Sheltie's life) I have a dog who has fleas. Two different groomers (I just moved recently, about an hour away) told me that fleas go thru phases of resistance. And right now the only thing that seems to be working on fleas is Advantix II. Got it & it is working on her. She is still getting fleas occasionally (it is January but we had a 58 degree day & I saw 3 caterpillers!!) but the ingredients in Advantix II knock them out right. I use it along with Capstar pills which kill everything on her immediately. I like Advantix because you can use it weekly if necessary & Capstar can be used daily if necessary but I haven't had to do that.

This product works by lengleman10/23/2012

I have used Frontline for years and have been very happy with the way it keeps the ticks off of my dogs. We live in a very heavily wooded area so the opportunity to have ticks is everywhere.

Vet recommended, great price by Barb from Southeastern Pennsylvania02/22/2013

We've used Frontline Top Spot Blue for years. Although we live in a wooded area with plenty of ticks, the dogs have always been fine with this product. I recommend it.

iT WORKS! by Vicki McBride06/11/2008

I only use Frontline in the summer, but it certainly does the trick on our dog/cat who spends much time outside, and lives inside.

NOT THE SAME FORMULA! by elisabeth from CA10/10/2014

ALL I CAN DO REITERATE WHAT KIM SAID SO WELL BACK IN JUNE 2014. IT'S NOW OCTOBER AND NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE ON EP'S WEBSITE REGARDING THE CHANGE IN INGREDIENTS AND I DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL I RECEIVED THEM AT HOME. I ALSO CALLED MERIAL AND GOT THE SAME RESPONSE. MERIAL COULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR POISONING A PET IF ONE DOESN'T READ THE INGREDIENTS CAREFULLY ON THE BOX BEFORE USING. HERE'S HER REVIEW AGAIN: By:Kim Date:June 11, 2014 Pet:Dog The box that you see pictured is no longer what you'll receive and the ingredients in the new formula are now exactly identical to that of Frontline Plus. I called Merial, the company who makes the product, and they confirmed that this product is now the same thing as Frontline Plus (Frontline Top Spot's patent expired and rather than discontinuing the product, they kept the name with Frontline Plus's formula so that they don't lose customers who buy the Top Spot). I informed Entirely Pets that they need to update their product information to reflect the addition of the new chemical in the Top Spot (S-methoprene) and they apparently haven't done so. My dog can not have S-methoprene for health reasons and so I find their inaction to be irresponsible. Not to mention they're charging more for the Top Spot than the Plus (again, identical formula!) Disappointed both with Entirely Pets and with Merial.
