I bought the Furminator Shampoo, Solution and deshedding tool on the recommendation of Consumer Reports. They were absolutely correct - these products do exactly what they advertise. A bonus to less shedding is the pleasant smell of the products. If you want to try just one product, try the solution first. Upon rinsing, it seems my lab/shar pei mix lost most of her undercoat. The deshedding tool also lives up to its advertising - it just takes a little longer.
