Grumpy Cat, real name Tardar Sauce, is a female cat and Internet celebrity known for her grumpy facial expression. Her owner Tabatha Bundesen says that her permanently grumpy-looking face is due to feline dwarfism.

Grumpy Cat's unique demeanor has earned her a place among popular memes through captioned pictures used as "reaction" pictures. These pictures allow users to express certain feelings on internet boards with a clever caption that embodies their sentiments of dissatisfaction across a picture of grumpy cat. Grumpy Cat was also featured in a documentary entitled Lil Bub and Friends about the internet phenomenon of LOLCats. The film featured other popular cats, including Lil Bub, Nyan Cat, and Keyboard Cat. The film won the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2013 for Best Feature Film.
