Drinkwell Hydrate will keep the water in your petís bowl fresh and filtered using a filtration system. Hydrate is able to be attached securely to any water bowl using small powerful suction cups. While circulating water, the filter will trap particles and debris, such as fur and food particles, within its mesh. Your petís water will come out cleaner and better-tasting using Hydrateís activated carbon filter. The pump is submersible for quite continuous use. No one is interested in this. If I leave the water trickle for the kitten, she'll play and snap at the water for a few minutes. So, I bought this thinking they'd or she'd use it...the humming just irritated them so they wouldn't go near it.

Great alternative to expensive water fountain! by Kelly from Lincoln, NE08/11/2012
My cat Dodger loves drinking water out of his bowl with this great little pump circulating and filtering the water. Before we got this pump, I bought an expensive porcelain fountain in an effort to prevent Dodger from getting cat acne on a plastic fountain. Instead of drinking out of the porcelain part of the fountain, he insisted on drinking on the one small plastic part where the water comes out. He started getting cat acne right away. We got rid of the fountain and got this submersible pump for his porcelain water bowl. Since then, Dodger has stopped getting on the bathroom vanity at four o'clock in the morning and meowing for running water from the faucet. He gets his aerated water 24/7 and doesnít get cat acne. I get to sleep. It's the perfect solution and inexpensive too!
