On June 23, 2006, thousands of businesses, will participate in Pet Sitters International's 8th Annual Take Your Dog To Work Day®
Pet sitters, animal shelters and businesses of all sizes will come together to recognize the great companions dogs make. PSI, along with Modern Dog magazine and others, will join pet lovers around the world to celebrate man’s—and woman’s—best friend.
Take Your Dog To Work Day encourages pet owners to take their well-behaved, well-groomed dogs into the workplace for one day. The purpose is to celebrate the great companions dogs make and encourage dog-less co-workers to adopt pets of their own from local animal shelters, humane organizations and rescue groups.
Take Your Dog To Work Day was created by Pet Sitters International (PSI), an educational organization for professional pet sitters.
