The "Extreme" Kong Flyer is very thin and flimsy which can make it difficult to throw. The Flyer was quickly ripped and destroyed by my dog from just catching it in his mouth. The black rubber was sticky and had a foul odor when new, so I washed it before using it and it turned the sink water a dark and nasty yellow color. This makes me wonder what health effect that might have on any animal that has this in its mouth. The Kong Flyer is also manufactured in China now that Kong Company has moved their manufacturing overseas.
