Description

K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules is a dietary supplement designed specifically for dogs and cats. It combines the benefits of potassium citrate and cranberry extract to support urinary tract health in pets.

K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules are formulated as a convenient and palatable way to provide important nutrients to pets. The granules are easy to administer and can be sprinkled on top of your pet's food. This supplement is particularly beneficial for pets prone to urinary tract issues, such as urinary stones or recurrent urinary tract infections.

Key Benefits:

  1. Promotes Urinary Tract Health: The combination of potassium citrate and cranberry extract helps maintain a healthy urinary pH in pets. Potassium citrate helps prevent the formation of certain types of urinary stones, while cranberry extract contains natural compounds that support urinary tract health and help prevent bacterial adherence to the bladder walls.
  2. Reduces the Risk of Urinary Stones: Potassium citrate is known to inhibit the formation of calcium oxalate and struvite stones, which are common types of urinary stones in dogs and cats. By providing a supplemental source of potassium citrate, K-Plus helps reduce the risk of stone formation and supports overall urinary health.
  3. Supports Bladder Health: Cranberry extract has been shown to have beneficial effects on the bladder by reducing the adherence of bacteria to the bladder walls. This helps prevent the colonization of harmful bacteria and supports a healthy bladder environment in pets.
  4. Easy Administration: The granules can be easily mixed with your pet's regular food, making it convenient to incorporate into their daily routine. The palatable formula ensures that your pet will likely accept the supplement without any issues.
  5. Veterinarian Recommended: K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules are often recommended by veterinarians as a proactive approach to urinary tract health in dogs and cats. It is especially beneficial for pets with a history of urinary issues or those at higher risk of developing urinary stones.

It's important to note that while K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules can be a valuable supplement for urinary tract health, it's always best to consult with your veterinarian before introducing any new dietary product or supplement to your pet's routine.

Urinary Tract Infection Remedy

Potassium Citrate helps maintain the normal function of the urinary tract and bladder health. This unique formula was developed to enhance renal function, promote bladder health, and optimize the urinary tract health of pets.

Cranberry Extract

Cranberries help assist in maintaining normal bladder health and control. Cranberry extract has been proven to enhance urinary tract health and help decrease the possibility of calcium oxalate stone formation.

Potassium Citrate

Potassium Citrate helps promote proper urine mineral balance while supporting normal kidney detoxification and healthy waste elimination. Potassium Citrate helps maintain normal urine pH. When pH is regular in urine and less acidic, the kidneys don't form kidney stones.

Kept me from buying Hills Perscription Diet
August 4, 2016
I rescued Maggie from a rescue about 4 years ago. Recently my vet did a urine test a told me the she had crystals forming in her bladder and I would have the switch to Hills Prescription diet C/D. which will control the forming of crystals in her bladder. I have been feeding Maggie a protein rich, meat base diet since i got her, and the last thing I wanted to do is go to that Corn based diet. I started giving her 1 scoop of K-Plus with her food and 1 month later. I had her tested again and she was free from Crystals.I will be a life time customer. Maggie is doing well again.

K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry
August 26, 2015
This product replaced a prescription liquid formula. The two significant factors I like about the product are that it is a lot less expensive than the liquid prescription formula and my dogs appear to like the taste. It is also easy to administer - I simply mix it with the dogs food. I don't know if the product provides the same level of protection as the liquid version, as there is no lab analysis to that end. Until my dogs lab test indicate otherwise, I will continue to use the product. My four star rating is based upon the assumption that the product actually does what it is designed to do.

My cat recently had kidney stones and was given this product by his vet to alleviate future recurrences. I add it to his food at the prescribed amount and he eats it right along with his food with no problem. Knowing I can get it for him so quickly (3 days from day I ordered) and at such a great value is very comforting. I don't want him to have to go through the pain and suffering again. Thanks EntirelyPets.

Urinary Tract Issues
August 9, 2014
One of my young cats had developed a pretty serious urinary issue (blood in urine, straining to urinate, etc.), which unfortunately had not been treated by his prior owner.
After doing extensive research I decided to try K-Plus and Cosequin. It's hard to say which one is beneficial or if it is the combination of the two but my cat's urinary health improved incredibly!
For maintenance, I give him 1/2 scoop twice a day and once capsule once per day. I only give him about 1/3 cup of dry food per day and feed him canned food twice a day with the K-Plus and Cosequin.

A Must for Breeds Prone to Kidney & Bladder Stones
August 5, 2014
My vet advised that my dogs' breed is prone to kidney & bladder stones so I have been mixing this with their food for years. One is over 15 years old and the other is over 20 years old and neither dog has ever had a stone! I had been using a different brand that didn't have the cranberry so I was glad to find this. Both of my dogs seem to prefer it with cranberry and the price is better too!

Saved me so much money.

I am so happy to have found this product at EntirelyPets. My vet was charging me 3 times as much for the same product. That savings really adds up since my dog has to take it daily for the rest of her life.

3 Pack K-Plus Citrate Plus Cranberry
February 4, 2014
We started my 6 month old female labradore on this due to her having to have a bladder stone the size of my thumbtip removed at three months. The vet suggested a special diet food. After one month we switched back to our original because I hadn't heard any compelling argument of success with the extremely expensive food. Also, my puppy's urinalysis had not changed at all. My husband titles Labradors and the high carbohydrate low protein ratio of the prescription expensive food was less than ideal for building muscle. Also, I know someone who's dog (different breed) had to have a SECOND bladder stone removal surgery after being on the special dog food for 6 months. After a month of adding in the Potassium Citrate, our puppy's urinalysis improved. Specifically the pH, which I was told is a big culprit in stone formation. We are continuing with the potassium citrate and are adjusting her amount up as she is growing in size so much now. We will do another urinaysis is two more months. So far so good. My vet says it's because of the potassium citrate. So glad I researched options!

My little Bella an 8 lb.Shitzu had shown crystallization in her urine. This is what the vet put her on. She has been on this since I rescued her at 2 yrs.old she is now 13 and has never had urinary issues. Plus she loves the flavor.

Bishon Frise
April 30, 2013
I bought this for my Bishon who had calcium oxalate stones removed. Despite puttting him on the vet diet, he continues to have issues. I started him on this to prevent recurrence and it has worked really well. He loves the taste. I add it to his food with a cup of water twice a day. He has not had any recurrence in a year now. We have an appointment coming up so they can do x-rays to confirm no stones are forming but I am expecting good things. I also add Vitamine B6 to his diet to help with the same thing. This is the best priced item available in packs of 3.
