Yes, it's expensive. I am a Scrooge with money and it took me a while to decide to buy this but WOW am I glad I did. It will be the last litter box you will buy and you will save money on litter and time. And if your cat has a sensitive respiratory tract, you will save on doctor bills as well.

This is an incredible product! Unlike the littermate that gets the waste stuck in the rake, it's clean, easy and completely worth the money. Once a week you go out and pull out the drawer, take out the garbage bag, put in a new one and your done. It needs a little litter added once in a while and the outside cleaned once in a while. The only negative is if you have a bigger cat - they have a little more difficulty turning around and if they don't the waste goes on the outside of the litter robot!!! They have excellent customer service and training ideas to help your cat adjust. I used Dr. Elsey's litter attract to help get them started which worked great. I've had it for 2 years now with 2 cats and it's still works great! Cuts down the smell as well.

This is THE ONLY litter box to have in your home ...period. We are a senior couple and the litter robot assists us in every aspect with the care of our pets. It is neat , clean and sanitary,and we have no contact with used litter. Our pets love it and it saves us a lots of energy. Thank you litter ROBOT inventors

While i experienced a couple of start up problems such as adjusting the sensor, once it is properly adjusted it works great. i have one cat that is obsessed with the litter robot when it is in operation and continually likes to step on the step to watch - of course this stops the litter robot in its process. but then it continues up again - or one push of the button starts it up again. and imagine no more scooping. what a pleasure. just have to figure out how to keep the bags retained better. i would rate this product a 9.5i will reevaluate in 6 months to see if another is warranted to replace my other regular box but it is probably a good idea to keep one around just in case of power outage, or other unforeseen event.this is the one to get - no more disposal boxes, litter trays, you buy the litter robot and just need to replace the filter once in a while. you can use your regular kitchen garbage bags so there is no added expense of buying something special for this.it's GREAT!!!!!!

Fabulous litter box, o.k it's not cheap but let me tell you it's worth every cent-I raise sphynx cats and I want another litter robot-no more scooping just grab the bag-replace with a new one and your set...it's that easy.
