The new MalAcetic ULTRA combines the ANTI-PRURITIC,
anti-itch action of Hydrocortisone with the anti-fungal/yeast action of Ketoconazole, plus the antimicrobial effects of acetic and
boric acids.
The addition of Hydrocortisone adds effective anti-pruritic, anti-itch effects to the potent antimicrobial, anti-yeast action of broad spectrum
Ketoconazole. Topical, anti-fungal, and antibacterial use for dogs, cats and horses.
Contains:
1% Acetic Acid, 2% Boric Acid.
Active Ingredients:
.15% Ketoconazole, 1% Hydrocortisone.
Directions:
Apply to wet coat. Rub MalAcetic Ultra Shampoo into skin and/or coat until lightly lathered. Wait 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse well. May be used daily or as directed by a veterinarian.
I stumbled on MalAcetic Ultra shampoo when I was at my wit's end trying to interrupt my dog's chronic staph and pyoderma. I bathed her in this and her skin cleared up, almost immediately. I continue to rely on this shampoo, as well as MalAcetic wipes and Flush to control any new outbreaks. Canine skin is normally more acidic than ours. This is the only formula I know of that uses that fact as a basis for healthy canine skin.
