Malaseb Shampoo is ideal for generalized or multifocal therapy of dermatitis in dogs, cats and horses. Malaseb Shampoo contains Miconazole – an antifungal with potent activity against fungi and yeast – and Chlorhexidine Gluconate – a proven antimicrobial agent active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. This synergistic formulation effectively removes scales, degreases the skin and kills cutaneous microorganisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis. Clinical trials show Malaseb to be an effective treatment and control of Seborrheic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatitis and Staph intermedius. Directions:
Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather shampoo over the entire body allowing at least 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water. Repeat this process twice a week until symptoms go away, then use once a week or as directed by your veterinarian.

I bought this product from my vet. My Mini-Schnau was plagued with itchy bumps untill the first time I used this shampoo. She has not had any skin problems since that time, nearly a year ago!
