The Marina C10 is a 10 watt compact, submersible heater for
use in indoor aquariums. Without any adjustments needed, it is designed to
reach and maintain the set temperature of 26ºC (78ºF). The exterior is made of
a tough polymer so that it will not crack or break like traditional glass sleeve
heaters. The heater is ideal for aquariums up to 2.65 gallons (10 L) and can be used in fresh and saltwater tanks.
This got my 1 gallon Betta tank up to 78, just like advertised! its the only small heater on the market that is self-regulating, so I absolutely cannot and would not ever complain! Clint (his name) is a happy fish! While, yes, he does float around it a lot, i think thats generally because its the warmest spot in the tank.

I had been looking for a small heater for my 1.5 gallon tank. This heater works great! Make sure you read all of the instructions prior to placing it. It must become acclimated to the water before you plug it in. I forgot this fact. I thought it had stopped working after cleaning my tank. Luckily I kept the box and instructions.
