My cat wouldn't eat these by karsmitty from Pennsylvania12/12/2012
I had high hopes for these treats for my senior cat who is extremely finicky. I had hoped she would eat one of these a day to help keep her weight up, but unfortunately, she did not care for them. It's worth a try on the chance your cat may like them. If you're desperate like me, you'll try this sort of item once to see if your cat will eat it.

None of my cats will eat them. They like the smell but it's really not "soft" and they won't eat hard treats. They like the gel so I thought they would love these, but was disappointed.
If your cat prefers hard food it is a great item by ROH10/26/2013
They are not "soft chews" in the way one would generally refer to soft chews. They are very resistant to pressure, but do not crack like normal hard food does. If enough force(a massive amount) is applied, they will smash flat like a pancake. They are best suited for a cat that prefers hard food. My cat, with a dietary issue, falls into the hard food category. They are less mess and work than the gel, so if your cat will eat hard food I would recommend these over the gel. My cat eats them lickety-split, and would eat more than the recommended dose if allowed to, so be careful.
50/50 whether the cats like it or not by mommacat from Utah06/21/2012
Some will take the treat; others ignore. The treats are not all that soft so they don't work at all with the 2 cats who have no teeth left. I use the gel to keep the weight on underweight cats and was hoping the chews would be easier to give than the gel, but nope. Just have to see if your pet likes them.
