Maya loves her new parka. Finally I found a parka that fits her well and have no problem putting it on her. It's so warm that I wish they made them for humans.
Worst Customer Return Policy by Unhappy12/01/2010
I bought this product because of the great price. I measured my dog according to the table supplied on the website. When I received the item, I opened the bag, tried on the product which did not fit. When I called to exchange the product I was told that it was the 'policy of the company that items such as this, (clothes) were not able to be exchanged or returned. I related to the representative that I used their website measurement table; but unless I took it out of the bag I couldn't try on the parka. No where on the item page was it clear that the item was not able to be exchanged if the packaging was opened. He apologized and said he would talk to his mgr. I asked him to let me know by email of the response. I did not receive a response. I will return all other items unopened and will never purchase again from this website.
good and bad and horrible by j and k12/26/2010
The good: nice design. We like the way it comes around the breastbone.
The bad: velcro collects dog hair. Suggest some other way to hold together.
Horrible: the sizing is horrible. We have a Goldendoodle and bought the xl because it's suppose to fit a Golden Retriever. Sorry, but I don't know of any Golden Retreiver that would fit it. And, our doodle is only 50 ish pounds not a large doodle by any means.
Exchanging for xxl. Will post review.

This is a steal!!! Hard to believe this jacket costs so little. I'm a backpacking gear nut, and this jackets quality is comparable to the pro people gear I spend big $$$ on. I'm planning to walk the AT trail this year with my dog, and this parka along with the All Terrain jacket will be the only clothes we'll take for my elderly dog on the extended trip (~6 months). I paid only $9.99, and at this price it was a super-fantastic deal! In the store I would have gladly paid $50-75 for it. The batting is polyester: however we live in the south plus the dog has her natural fur coat - so Goose Down would be too much/hot and it's perfect for her.
