This ramp has made my life so much easier!Initially I bought this ramp 1 year ago for my oldest golden retriever that has hip dysplasia. While she's certainly capable of hitting the trails and leaping logs, it was too much for her to jump into my vehicle without help. My second golden now has mobility issues, and there's no way I could've lifted her entire weight. The Deluxe's 72" ramp is sturdy, easy to telescope in and out, and when fully extended provides a gradual enough slope for them to get into the 2010 Subura Outback without difficulty. We're out in all kinds of weather, and they've never slipped on it. When folded, fits nicely across the width of the Outback. Only thing, we do need to tighten the rubber bumpers on it occassionally. My dogs did agility, so walking up/down a ramp was familar to them. You'll want to properly acquaint your dog to start squarely at the bottom and when leaving the car to walk the ramp all the way to the bottom rather than jumping off the side to eliminate possibility for injury. A great product!
