is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash.
Unlike traditional collars, the Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone. The unique front-chest leash attachment of the Easy Walk Harness stops pulling by steering your dog to the side and redirecting his attention towards you. And, its patent-pending martingale loop provides extra leverage for easy, relaxed control and prevents harness twisting and gapping.
Quick snap buckle on both the shoulder and belly strap make it easier to get the harness on and off.
Soft but strong nylon and four adjustment points provide maximum comfort and a reliable fit.
Having the leash in front on the dogs makes it so much easier to walk them. Having nothin around their throats seems much more humane and safe. Collars scare me, a hard yank caused by any number of reasons could hurt/damage throat, neck, blood vessels, esophagus etc.

Though our rescued Jack Russell Terrier mix accepted well enough being collared and leashed, she pulled with a strength which belies her small stature. I thought she'd stop tugging after constant correction, but she continued - always to the point of choking and gagging herself - until I put this little harness on her.

Love the EASY Walk! by Judy05/04/2008
I absolutely love this harness! I bought two other type of harness which actually did not work. My dog went from pulling full speed to walking nicely next to me. The Easy walk harness was going to be our last straw before considering a choke collar. I'm Glad we don't have to go that route after all. Money worth Spent!
walking harness by FoleysMom06/26/2013
I did not actually get to use this harness because the wroong size was sent. It looked of good quality and thank goodness I didn't open the plastic package because then it would have been unreturnable. The customer service people where not very helpful and infact bordered on rude. I won't purchase dog products from this website again.

A complete turn-a-round while walking on a leash.
Easy Walk Harness by Gerri from Fairborn, Ohio12/22/2011
I got this harness after I had another type that let our dog pull me where he wanted to go. It was always battle walking our dog. This harness makes walk our dog easier with out him pulling me while we walk. The other harness there was no controlling our dog if he went after rabbit etc. The easy walk harness puts me in control.
Does not fit by Happyhealthyhomes from Oneonta11/07/2012
Have tried every way possible to fit this on my Yellow lab/Golden retriever mix, but it seems to always fall off in the front. Very strange fit. I was soo excited to try this after all the rave reviews...maybe I need a smaller size? Will try to exchange. But, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this based on my experience with it.
Efficient Yet Cute by Ryen from Richmond, VA12/01/2011
This harness gets the job done! I have an energetic 16 month old who beomes a bit too much for my mom to walk. She has shoulder problems and fibromyalgia, so this harness helps when she has to walk our dog. I adore it because it doesn't seem uncomfortable like other solutions to the "pulling problem". Also, I ordered particularly from this site because they were one of the few who had it in red AND it was the best price I found overall.

It is such a pleasure to walk my young dog with this harness. From the first time using the harness, no more pulling!! Amazing!
Great for Puppy! by Barb06/01/2009
NO more pulling! She used to pull after cars, bunnies, birds! No more.
One complaint....sizing a bit off. I ordered Medium since she is 24 inches...and it is at it's widest and just fits... I will need to move up to a large soon.
Harness halting by Bill from Lake Tahoe, Nevada03/27/2012
The Easy Walk Harness is better than the Gentle Leader in that it is much more comfortable and does not irritate our dog's nose. It is effective in restraining our dog who likes to bolt forward in pursuit of rabbits; it allows us more control and more possibility of remaining upright while being pulled. It was a very good purchase.
Great for older dogs! by Susan05/12/2009
I have a 14 year old Aussie that is starting to have coughing problems when pressure is applied to her trachea. It is a chronic thing and not related to any health issue. I don't want to use a regular collar on her because of the coughing. She is also the type of dog that is annoyed with the regular Gentle Leader. This gives me the ability to guide her body gently when she gets into the aimless wandering mode that older dogs can get in. My only criticism is that the leash is commonly caught up in between her legs when there is any slack on the leash. I figure this is because of how low the harness sits on her chest.
Glad I Ordered This Harness by DogNurse0201/03/2012
This Easy Walk Harness is great, like all the Gentle Leader products. I've used the head halters for several years now, so I wanted to try the harness on my dogs. Unlike regular harnesses, the EWH has the clip/squeeze on the front of the chest, like the picture shows, and helps eliminate my dogs from pulling or dragging me when walking. I worried about neck injuries with the halters. One tip for EWH, make sure it is adjusted to a snug fit, not tight or loose. I only wish they came in different colors.
Wow... by whynotpugs09/07/2012
Just wow. I have a Pug who's a horrible puller. Because of the trachea problems in toy breeds, I've been adamant about not using training collars--choke collars. But standard harnesses are an invitation to pull like nobody's business. I was skeptical when I bought this no-pull harness, but OMG. Night and Day. I didn't think it was possible for her not to pull, but this has made a horrible puller a reformed addict. :) I cannot say enough good things about our results.
Easy Walk Harness by dog lover from San Antonio, TX01/25/2012
I have a 75 pound Retriever who pulls like a freight train. By the end of our walk I was exhausted and frustrated. The first time out with the Easy Walk harness opened up a new world for both of us! Now I actually enjoy taking him for a walk, and I know he has more fun because he isn't constantly being corrected. He walks gently and relaxed. It's easy to put on and take off, and without anything on his nose like many other harnesses, he doesn't feel restricted. I love it! One of my friends who also had a "puller" borrowed it for a walk and couldn't believe the instant change in her dog. She was sold on the harness instantly.
However, there should have been a size chart because I could have bought a larger size.
Indispensable Walking Tool by Den Hund from Evaston, IL02/22/2011
Front clip harnesses like this Easy Walk Harness are used to prevent pulling on the leash. I use an Easy Walk Harness for almost all of my fosters. It really helps us to be successful when learning our walking manners! Plus, it puts no stress on the neck, which is a huge plus. This product is made very well! I've used one of these for the past 3 years and it still looks pretty much like new (just a little dirt here and there). Highly recommended for any dog owner that is looking for a product that will help prevent pulling and/or eliminate pressure on the neck area. Be sure to measure your dog so you get the right fit. I usually also recommend this product to anyone who is adopting one of my foster dogs (I've had 19 fosters over the last 6 years).
Extremely pleased with this harness !!!! by 389poncho from South Central Wisconsin03/03/2012
This dog is a GSD/Bernese Mountain Dog mix and has been trying to pull my shoulders apart for two years now.
I fitted the harness to her and within 15 seconds after our walk started, her predisposition for pulling disappeared. It seems there is something about being pulled sideways and backward at the same time that is very unpleasant to a dog. Sure doesn't look uncomfortable, but it must be to them. I read a review recently that stated the results didn't last and their dog started pulling all over again after he got used to it. Only one person mentioned that though.
I have another standard harness that connects to the top of the back. So what I do it use that one 2-3 days out of each week [7 days] just to keep her guessing. Now, as far as I'm concerned, this is a permanent fix.
I'm a happy camper !!!

Easy Walk Harness is a game changer by Chris from West Hartford, CT02/24/2013
Entirely Pets sent me an email to review so it's a slow Sunday so here we go. We have had the Easy Walk for 2 of our Black Labs over the years. They are great! If you need to modify walking behavior of your dog, do youreself a favor and get one. We have had several friends and neighbors ask about it, purchase on our recommendation, and not one person has regretted it. One coworker went through several different products and probably $100 worth of failures before getting this harness and the change in his dogs pulling at the end of the leash ceased immediately with the Easy Walk. It is well worth the money.
Extremely pleased with this harness by 389poncho from South Central Wisconsin02/18/2012
I have an almost 3 year old German Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog mix that has been trying to dislocate my shoulders all these years. She tries really hard to please me but the BMD in her makes her pull like she is in the Swiss Alps pulling one of those big loaded carts. That inherent working dog "pull" keeps taking over.
Enter the "Easy Walk" harness. After I fitted her, we went out for the maiden run. After giving her one quick tug, she came back to my side and has stayed there ever since. The leash attaches to this harness at the front/chest area. Apparently dogs don't like being pulled backwards and sideways at the same time. It doesn't look unpleasant but it sure must be to them. All I know is, it really does work and I am one happy camper!
Thank you "Easy Walk" harness,
by from 01/24/2013
The Easy Walk harness is wonderful to use with our black lab. It is the second one: the first, which we have had for many years, is still fine but it was time for a fresh harness. Without a harness, she is too strong for some of our family members when she becomes curious and suddenly pursues a scent...
great for strong dog by Holistic pet companion from Corpus Christi, Tx01/11/2012
This collar/harness is working better than any other to walk a strong pulling dog - even with an extendaleash/retractable leash. Thanks
best so far by junior from honolulu11/07/2012
I have tried choke chain, spiked traning collar, sporn anti pull harness, etc and this has been the best so far for our little staffy. when using the other collars/ harnesses he always pulls me where ever he wants to go while choking & coughing. Also use it on one of our labs and it works perfectly (5 stars). the spiked collar works better on our other lab . It also works very well on our pointer mix shelter dog.
My shoulder feels better. by JC10/29/2011
My 50 pound pointer mix is very sweet but loves to chase cats and squirrels. This harness doesn't totally eliminate pulling, but it really slows it down a lot. I can't pull her forward, though. If she is stubbornly sniffing the grass, I have to use a voice command to get her moving forward again. It is extremely easy to take off, you just open one of the two latches and it falls off the dog. It is slightly harder to put on, mainly because Lucy it so excited to get it on she is wiggling. She adjusted to it right away.
best harness so far by junior08/21/2012
tried other guaranteed stop pulling harnesses ,choke chains, and was using the pronged training collar until now.the easy walk harness is the best so far.works perfectly on one of our labs but not on the other lab. also works fairly good on our english staffy (best one so far).now I walk both labs together so i am very happy
Best thing you can do for your pet & yourself. by Tweeflower13 from Bellows Falls, VT11/17/2011
It was very hard at times walking my energetic 12 yr. old Jack Russell, Rufus. He loves to run & was constantly choking & gagging with his other 'collar'. Since buying this Premier Easy Walk Harness, he no longer chokes or gags & even walks next to me on my Jazzy. We have a much more enjoyable time and go further on our walks exploring our neighborhood. It's been a blessing to us both. Thank you.
Helpful tool by Steve06/03/2012
We are using the harness on our pit/Weimaraner mix female(60lbs) and find it to be a good aid for hassle-free walking. It was a bit tricky to get the right fit at first, but getting the right size was essential.Large was too big and medium/large is just right.
Our dog is a pretty good walker to begin with (we started her on a Halti head halter, which I have used for years on other dogs, and like very much) and this harness is pretty much just as good.
great product! by maximus from CT06/13/2012
I love this product for all size and breeds that pull. Even for the most stubborn of pullers, the dogs can't get the same momentum they do with choke chains or pinch collars. This harness is great even for the occasional pullers.
sizing not accurate by zw05/08/2012
The harness was good quality, but I ordered a medium/large thinking a large would be for a rotweiler sized dog. Mine is shepherd size. It didn't fit him and was barely big enough for my 30 llb dog.
I bought 4! by Maximus from CT04/17/2012
One of the best inventions for strong pullers ever. I bought 4 of them for the shelter where I volunteer. I walk all the big strong pullers with this harness and a flat collar. I do NOT bother with choke chains or pinch collars!
No merchandise received by carpediem04/25/2013
I never received the harness I ordered and paid for!!!
Good option for leash pullers by Lola from East coast US01/12/2013
Was having trouble finding the right size for our 45lb coonhound mix. The tweener size (M/L) seems the best, and it does help slow her down on walks. This is a much better option than the choker collar. The only downside is that it chafes her coat a bit on the sides of her legs. That could just be a fit problem though, as she's really in between sizes. Overall a good quality product that works - would recommend for serial leash pullers!
