Arthritis is a painful condition There are two major forms of arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is a common form of arthritis which involves inflammation of the jonts, swelling, pain, and loss of function. The primary sympton of rheumatoid arthritis is inflammation of the synovial membrane. The membrane thickens and synovial fluid accumulates. The resulting pressure causes pain and tenderness.
The most common form of arthritis, osteoarthritis, is a degenerative joint disease that is far more common than rheumatoid arthritis. It is characterized by the deterioration of articular cartilage and the formation of new bone in the subchondral areas and at the margins of the joint. The cartilage slowly degenerates and as the bone ends become exposed, small bumps of new osseous tissue are deposited on them. These bumps decrease the space in the bone cavity and restrict joint movement.
Phycocyanin It has been discovered that a blue-green algae extract and, more particularly, phycocyanin functions as a COX-2 inhibitor that is effective in treating arthritis and other inflammatory conditions in animals. My eight month chihuahua started to not be able to walk. Her back legs would go out and she would just fall. She started to drag her back legs because she couldnt use them anymore. I took her into our local vet. They did an xray and seen she didnt have any cartilage around her knee's. Her knee's were also very bad. The vet said we should think about putting her down. She was in so much pain. Well we decided to give her two weeks on pain meds and to try this Phycox Joint support. Well she now is 9 1/2 Months old and is doing great! She is running around and playing like a puppy again! I can't believe the difference! I feel like we owe it all to the phycox JS. She is just a normal happy healthy puppy again! Although she will be on this Phycox JS for the rest of her life but it is well worth it to have her still in our lives. She is a great dog, who deserves to be able to run around and play.

My poor two year old bully dog suffers from bad joints. I tried the cheaper route by purchasing "human" glucosamine, but that didn't seem to do too much for her. When I started using PhyCox, I noticed a difference within a week! She is much more active now! And even with the extra activity, she is more comfortable. I haven't seen her limp since she's been taking PhyCox. Love it!

I have a 14 year old lab.
