not desired outcome
this seemed like a great idea especially for a fella who does not like to be left alone. he is not interested in "playing" with it and the treats come out so easily that when i demonstrate, it is too quickly emptied.
no exercise involved for my cat.
Keeps them rolling
from Nanticoke, PA03/17/2014
My cats love to roll this around and get rewarded for doing it. It gives them exercise and they have a lot of fun working for their treats.
My cat used to eat his food the minute it was set down. Now it takes him about 10-15 minutes and he seems to enjoy the stimulation.
My cat, who is just over two years old, LOVES this feeding device! We use two of them and put different dry foods in them. It is a sturdy and well-made product that has worked wonderful for us.

I bought this for my 17 year old kitty who has just lost his sister. He's been crying a lot and lying around more than I'm happy with. BUT, he LOVES snacks! I bought this hoping he would like it - he LOVES it. I put treats in there and he rolls it around, pushing it with his head or paws until all the treats are gone. He gets excited when he sees me loading it up. I would definitely recommend for a cat who loves his treats.
works as advertised

this toy works as advertised. One of our cats took it over and nudge and batted--it spins on its side and dispenses, as well as rolling. Competition for treats was to stiff among our cats to get any real play going. Too much concern over someone else getting the treat. I guess we could get one for everybody, but my guess is that the cats would still be worried about a faster paw. If you have 1 or 2 cats, this would be a good treat dispensing toy.
