I have been buying this product for several years as my cat has a problem with crystals in urine. Love the product but in last 2 shipments the cans on one side of box were very damaged. No packing material in box. Emailed customer svc. 3 times. No reply! Guess I will take business elsewhere...

Good Purchase by Rachel from Overland Park, KS02/17/2014
You can get the same product at Entirely Pets as you can at the pet store or vet office, but you can get it cheaper, even with shipping, when using the discount offers they send. The food has been exactly the same with the exception that my last purchase of Royal Canin S/O canned soft food. The food didn't contain the same moisture. It's kind of dry, but it hasn't expired. I'm not sure if this is EntirelyPets or the manufacturer. Other that that, I've received a quality product within a reasonable amount of time. Do keep in mind you have to pay for shipping for food even if your order is over $85.
Best Food for Picky Felines by Lilly from Charlotte, NC10/06/2010
Our male cat, Buddy has a urinary tract disorder & was prescribed Hill's diet by our veterinarian. He will not touch it. We've now tried two dry foods & 3 different canned foods. I thought I should keep trying..I ordered the Royal Canin Urinary SO & he really loves it!! He ate every bite the very 1st time he tried it!!
We are so pleased with this food & can only hope that he continues to eat & enjoy it. I would recommend this to anyone who has a cat with this same ailment..Thanks

He Likes It! by txmarty from San Antonio, TX04/08/2014
I was afraid that my cat might not like a "special diet" food that came in only one flavor; however, so far, he's been eating it without any issues. As soon as the remaining store-bought cans in my pantry are gone, I plan to use this diet exclusively for all of my cats to help prevent UTIs. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the thick, sticky consistency that is hard to get out of the can and hard to scrape off a spoon. The cats seem to enjoy a slightly moister food with gravy, but they are eating this despite its consistency.
Great Food by Trilby from New York, NY12/04/2012
My cat is a picky eater and she eats this food!
Since she will have to be on this food for the rest of her life and it cleared up her crystals in her urine I highly recommend it.
Very Good by trkmom1 from Arkansas Ozark Mountains11/07/2011
I ordered this food along with the morsels & gravy one. This is a more solid cat food but again it is better smelling than the Science Diet CD and my cat likes the taste a lot. I am using this and the morsels and gravy and cutting back on the CD. Even my other cats want to lick the plate of my urinary problem cat. DJ has had no issues with these 2 RC products.

My Maine Coon consistently had urinary blockage until my vet prescribed this food. He has not had a blockage since. She wanted to remove the penis - thank goodness I said no on that surgery. The cost of the food was worth no surgery bills. Both of my cats love it.
Feline Royal Canin SO 30 canned cat food by jewels03/04/2012
WONDERFUL PRODUCT! I purchase both wet and dry formula for my male Manx cat and it has kept him stable six years after pu surgery! My only gripe is that the cans always arrive dented - big time. I wish Entirely Pets would pack them differently - especially with pet food shipping costs so high!

Canin Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie Dry Cat by Deborah from Baltimore, MD10/13/2013
My Will has been having bouts with constipation. He was so constipated that he seeped feces out of his little behind and would hack and throw up. I had to take him to the vets for enemas on a regular basis and he was taking Miralax daily along with ducolax and it was not working.
I heard about Canin Gastro Intestinal food and thought that I would try it, but I needed a prescription for it - which meant another visit to the vet. She thought we should keep Will on medication, but I was against the meds. I started Will on this and took him off the canned food and he no longer suffers with constipation. I and Will are very happy with the fantastic results of this product.
This product really works for my cat with allergies! Her eyes do not run anymore and she is not scratching at her ears! The best part is that my other two cats actually like this healthy food so I can feed it to all three.
the food is fine. The website makes it hard to complete the order and check out. I had to really search to realize I had to choose a specific kind of shipping for pet food before it would take me to the next step.
I think the price is kind of expensive, but the product is fine.

The RC Renal LP has reduced the our cat's urine volume by 1/3 to 1/2. The Cat (Rose) seems to prefer the LP mixed with a little of her old food, rather than straight up.
More care needed in packaging by Boris from Houston, TX03/19/2014
Ordered 2 cases. One case broke apart and loose cans were badly dented. 3 cans had broken enough to leak. Even cans that stayed in the cardboard case got deformed as if the case was dropped on a corner. Need much better padding and more care when packing for mail.
Excellent!!!! by Dixie03/14/2012
Thank you for selling the minced type of renal food rather than the sliced/chunks. He likes your minced type very well but he will only eat the gravy off of the sliced/chunk type of the same brand. The only problem I have with what I purchased from your company is the size of the can. I have one old cat, so this size lasts a long time, and he prefers fresher food. This product also sells a 2.5 oz can but the only kind I have seen in the small cans is the sliced/chunk variety which is a waste of money for him.
Exceptional by K.02/22/2013
My cat has advanced renal disease and must be on one of these special diets. He really doesn't care for K/D canned (is ok about the dry) or Hi Tor Neo, so he doesn't eat enough when I give him those. He really does eat this one though. My cat won't eat "morsel" or chunky styles (just likes the gravy). This is "pate", which he eats well, esp. with just a little water added. I'm so glad there is an alternative that works.
by from 04/29/2013
After trying several dry foods for cats with renal problems that my cat would not eat, this product is finally working. I read that if you warm the food, it activates the aromas and makes it more palatable so I do this after it has been refrigerated.

My cat actually likes this food for kidney disease by Steve from Renton Wash.01/06/2013
The cat food (Royal Canin kidney diet) was shipped right away.. The only issue was that one of the cans shipped (of 24) was an empty can. Interesting how a sealed and labeled can could be completely empty, but all the other cans were fine.
Doing the Job Right! by Retiredteacher08/27/2013
The Renal LP canned cat food, which my doctor recommended, is keeping my sweet little kitty's kidneys healthier. Tiger Lily is over 18- years-old and I am SO grateful for products that give her a quality life while I am so lucky to have her in mine! Also, the sale you've had on the case of 24 cans is cheaper than anywhere else. Makes it easier to do the right thing for my baby! The product goes bad very fast, though, but keeping it in a tightly sealed plastic container has solved the problem.
highly damaged product by Jean from Oregon04/22/2012
I received the cans of cat food within a very timely manner, however when they arrived, 9 of the cans were very damaged, the box arrived with only one small inflated padding as protection. One can had leaked inside the box. I did e-mail the company and they asked me to send a photo of the damage, which I did. They did say they would send replacements for the 9 cans, which I should receive soon.

My cats eat it!!!!! by Nancy03/15/2011
My cat was just diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure. Of course I want to do everything I can to extend his life. I bought the two brands of catfood that they carried. They wouldn't touch either of them. I have two cats so I have to feed them the same thing. I went to PetSmart and bought Royal Canin L/P(she let me buy it this first time without a prescription). Well, much to my joy they both ate it without hesitation. I just wish they made some different flavors so I could vary it but I am sooo happy.
I found that this product is the exact same from the vet's office, and I purchase it in conjunction with the azodyl so I can ship for 1 price. It's not worth the shipping cost to purchase individually tho.

RC Renal beats Hill's k/d by Sarah04/26/2014
My two kitties were happily eating Blue Buffalo when one was diagnosed with kidney issues and put on Hill's k/d Renal Health. There's no reasonable way to feed them different things, so I switched them both to Hill's. Hill's gave the healthy cat diarrhea, so I added Royal Canin Renal as an option too. Even with all three foods available to them at all times, Royal Canin became their food of choice...and no diarrhea! I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's so expensive.

My cats have kidney and liver disease and have to be on this kind of cat food due to the ingredients.
The vet calls them Geriatric cats, I call them Seniors.
When I give it to them in limited quantities it seems to digest o.k. however if I am not going to be home for several hours and have to leave more cat food than a small amount out, they throw it up.
Am not sure why that is.

Great Product and Great Service by Stacie from Lumberton, TX01/02/2013
My cat needs this food. She's almost 18 years old and before starting on this food she had a lot of problems. Now she seriously acts more like a young cat than she has in years! My vet does not carry this brand (we've moved since she started on this food so it's a new vet) so it's so nice to be able to order it online. It's not anymore expensive than buying it direct from the vet and it's even better to have it on autoship so I don't have to add it to my list of things to remember! Thanks EntirelyPets for helping me take care of my beloved cat!!
If you cat is starting to show kidney problems by purrcatlady from Carmichael, CA02/02/2012
This is a low protein food which is what is recommended if your pet is "starting" to show
kidney problems. Mine had already progressed and I had to add "bonita flakes" on top of the food to get him to eat it. Well, he's now in Heaven. Start early getting your pets blood checked and don't wait till he start showing signs of weight loss. This way you can catch it early. My boy was 13 and the vet really started him on 2 much thyroid medication which caused his kidney problems; now I will be going to a vet that just deals with cats.

Free Shipping is a lie. by Gary05/25/2013
Pet food is exempt from free shipping but the "free shipping" pitch is everywhere on the page that you go to in order to buy the pet food. If you investigate the shipping policy, it tells you that pet food is exempt from the free shipping promotion. This means they want you to assume everything they tell you on their web pages are a lie and if you want to know the truth, you better read the policy statements carefully. I recommend you save yourself the time and effort and just shop elsewhere.

Good! by K.02/22/2013
Likes it better than most. Good supplement to canned for those who need renal food but whose cats like to also have hard food. Pieces are a bit larger than the Modified-P.
I purchased this particular brand after my vet said my older cat needed special food for her kidneys. Checking various cat food brand reviews told me that many cats won't eat this type of specialty food. But ROYAL CANIN RENAL LP24 was one pet owners continued to say "my cat will eat it!" So I gave it a try and we're on her 3rd bag of it already ;-). Happy cat, happy pet owner.
Likes it! by K.02/22/2013
Obviously tasty, which helps--a lot of prescription foods are not so well liked. Had no trouble getting him to try it, and he continues to eat it. Also small pieces, helpful for older teeth. Good addition to canned (for those who like it).
So far, so great! by RoxnRaz from Florida10/02/2014
My 9 year old cat recently began having urinary issues, the first time on Sept. 24th, in which I was able to keep him comfortable at home and help him with some research prior to getting him to the E-Vet. He was miserable when it first started... thank god for the research and home remedies... otherwise there was a good chance this instance would have taken him, he was in so much pain. This visit was our discovery of the bladder crystals, though it seemed minimal. He was much better by the time we had gotten to the vet (as I was working with a local resource to get some financial help for him). He blocked again, about 2 weeks later.... though the onset began about a week after the first, this one not as bad. I didn't wait. He went back to the vet, when he came home from the vet, he began shedding chunks of blood, it was terrifying.... so back to the vet. After keeping him for about 4 days, they switched him over to this diet vs. the CD rx diet that was initially suggested. This time they confirmed the crystals as struvite, but it was becoming a sludge.. Once he came home, I mixed this with water for him, and I have not had an issue since.... no signs of relapse, certainly no blood covered bathroom. He is happy, and urinating nice, clear diluted urine. This diet is a miracle, it it weren't for this food, my poor buddy would not have made it. We are both extremely grateful to have an option that works, for his urinary tract and taste-buds :) Highly recommended for cats with reoccurring FLUTD.

I have 8 cats. It is difficult to feed one cat a
special diet. I was so worried when one cat had
extensive surgery for urinary blockages. His
surgeon told us to feed him SO. It's actually affordable from Entirely Pets. I decided to feed it to them all. Most specialty diets are not interesting to cats but to my surprise, they all love it. Please don't stop selling it!

Low quality ingredients but effective by Elena from Nor cal02/05/2014
I've been using this food for years for my old cat. He kept getting blocked with urinary crystals and he doesn't like canned food. This food has a high sodium content so which makes the cat want to drink more h20. He hasn't had any reoccurrences since I put him on it. I just wish the ingredients were a higher quality rather than all the fillers. He likes the taste. It's not exactly cheap but it certainly follows through with its promise of prevention. This food is a prescription and should be fed to cats with crystals/ urinary problems only.

A must by Dolly from East Northport,NY11/03/2013
One of my cats is prone to kidney stones, so my Vet recommended Royal Canin SO for her. Since I have multiple cats, it is not feasible to have different dishes, with different food, as she would eat that. So all my cats are on the Royal Canin. All three of them love it, and if I should run out of it for whatever, reason, and I give them something else, they won't eat it. I was on auto delivery, but it ended up to be too often. So, I order it online as needed. It always arrives in a timely manner and I have never had a problem with the food, or its delivery.

Has saved my kitty by Stephanie11/24/2009
My cat had multiple episodes of bladder stones last year that nearly killed him. After thousands of dollars in vet bills, the vet expected that he would continue to have these problems and recommended some pretty radical surgical options. The vet suggested this food as a last ditch effort. Knock on wood-we haven't had a single problem in a years time on this diet (no extra snacks on the side). It doesn't smell great and gives the cat similar breath, but he is happy and healthy now, and of course, that's all I care about.

Several years ago, my male ragamuffin cat nearly died because of trapped "stones" in his urinary tract. The toxins built up in his body and did'nt have an "escape" route. The vet performed surgery..malibu the ragamuffin was saved. We were told to switch from his wet food diet to Royal Canin Urinary Formula food. Malibu eats this food and then feels the need to drink a lot of water after. The cat food is low in ash and low in the minerals that cause the deposits in the urinary tract. Drinking more water keeps him "flushed out"'. So five years later, Malibu is still alive and hasn't had any recurrence of the urinary problem.

Great Product by Tami05/27/2014
Many years ago, approx. 5 years ago, my cat had to be admitted into the hospital tor a urinary crystal blockage, the vet recommended we switch him to a diet of Royal Canin Urinary SO and so we switched food! Although it is a bit mor expensive we have not had a repeat issue of his urinary problem since and he had remained happy and healthy! I feel it is mush better to feed him this product then to take the chance or hi me having another issue with the urinary crystal because it was a very expensive vet bill and even worse very painful for my cat to go through! Preventative feeding is much better then dealing with health issues that could have been prevented! If your cat is prone to or at risk of this problem then switching to this food may help in possibly preventing it! It's at least worth speaking to your vet about this food as a preventative diet!

I can't believe how much the cats in my household love Royal Canin Urinary SO Formula DRY. Imagine my surprise when she gobbled it up. Not only her, but her two kitty roommates did also. Plus it's helped immensely with her condition. Thank you Royal Canin for such a great product!!!

This product is perfect in keeping my cat healthy, avoids him getting painful crystals in his urinary track and keeps him healthy and out of the vets office! The price here is one of the best I have found and it always arrives ahead of schedule! The customer service is awesome anytime I have had any questions they go over and above to get me answers to my questions! Thank you entirely pets for all your good work and for giving my pets the quality supplies they need!
Wonderful product by usmithbiz1 from Pittsburgh, PA02/01/2014
My cat ate it readily when first presented with it and has had no urinary problems in the three months since.
Great product for cats with digestive problems by PhilandHeather from rancho mirage, ca04/25/2014
Our vet put our cat on this after he suffered renal problems with the high salt content of the regular cat food he was eating. Since then he has been on this food and he has had no recurrence of the problems. The amazing thing is he eats this food every day, never picky about eating it.

Excellent product. Normally my fussy kitty refuses anything new, especially anything that is good for her health but she just loves this. Being "moderate calorie" I am hoping she will lose some weight.
Very good product by Cat Mommy from New York State06/22/2014
It was a wonderful product, but I had to switch my cat to a wet food as she gained too much weight from the dry due to her physical problems. If it weren't for that, I would have kept her on that forever. Royal Canin makes really excellent quality products.
My cat requires a special diet of Royal Canin urinary SO and he also likes it, I'm glad I don't have to go to the vet to get it
our vet recommended this product to minimize crystals in our cat's urine - it works and the check ups have been negative for crystals - plus our cat ate the food the first time it was offered - the price is somewhat less at Entirely Pets compared to our vet
Royal Canin Urinary SO canned cat food by Gail03/30/2014
I have tried other urinary foods for my cat, but he seems to love this cat food. I buy this food here because I get my best buys and the shipping is now better than it used to be. My order comes faster than before and as I said, my cat loves this food.
urninary formula not so great! by laurelw/cats05/13/2014
I have multiple cats and they do not like this at all. They hated the 6 ounce cans of SO. I had to take them back to the store. They really do not like any uninary tract FUS food at all!
Saved the day! by bojangles from Denton, TX03/01/2011
My neutered male cat loves this canned food and he gets no dry food, because of his condition.
My cat loves this stuff by Alli06/07/2012
A little more expensive than buying it directly from the vet, but since my vet is only open the same hours I'm at work, the price difference is worth the convenience.
Great by trkmom1 from Arkansas Ozark Mountains11/07/2011
My cat has been on Science Diet CD and needed a break so I got this and he loves it and it smells so much better then the CD. Plus it has gravy. I am going to stick with this more and feed the CD less often. It is a bit cheaper then the CD but with shipping it averages out about the same.

The boys really enjoy this. Wish I could afford to feed my big boy this all the time. Seems to need less to satisify him. Better than the dry anytime.
Prefers Pate by nanscats from Cleveland, Ohio10/06/2013
My feline was diagnosed with a bladder condition, and I tried the Royal Canin SO morsels. My baby did eat them after much encouragement--she prefers pates instead.
My cat loves this! by AMD401/07/2013
After suffering with bladder crystals I was relieved to find a canned food my cat LOVES. (He doesn't like any other regular canned food at all!) His favorite part is the gravy, which he licks off the morsels before eating them.
