SAMeLQ® Chewable Tablets are formulated to help support normal liver function in dogs and cats. S-adenosyl methionine (SAMe) and n-acetyl L cysteine help support normal detoxification and cleansing of the liver from impurities. Glycyrrhizinate Ammonium (licorice root extract), quercetin and L-taurine are antioxidants which help enhance the immune response.

They are supposed to be chewable but my dog wanted no part of them. They need to improve the flavor or make them in a pill shape so they can be swallowed whole. Neither of dogs would even taste them.

My sweetie needed samE and the original ones I had been using were great but to get the dosage she needed it was almost 3 pills! Then I found these and only 1 pill was needed. They are made by the same company, by the way.

My dog was having kidney problems and her vet put her on these SAMe pills. They have worked wonders for her no more problems at all. She just turned 13 and is an airedale.

We recently used this product for our 15 year old Golden Retriever - Mitzi. She was diagnosed with liver problems in June. We just had her blood work completed again and her liver values were almost normal. The vet was impressed! We are so thankful that the product has worked so well for her. We recently started giving it to our 11 year old Golden who is having some joint issues. We are hoping that it will work for him for his problem. Our fingers are crossed!

Vet suggested my Golden (11 1/2) take this because his liver enzymes were so high. Although there is sure fire cure, this product has helped his symptoms considerably-particularly the constant panting and pacing & inability to "get comfortable".

My dog has liver problems and the Vet advised me to give her one tablet a day at least a hour before meals. The price the Vet charged me for this supplement was ridiculous. I searched the net to see if I can get them cheaper and found Entirely Pets. They were the cheapest almost half the price. I have been ordering from Entirely Pets for about a year now and I love the prices and the fast shipping. The website is easy to navigate. I recommend this site to all my animal lovers. My 11 yr.old poodle had elevated liver enzymes after routine testing with no symptoms of any problem. A daily tablet in a pill pocket has lowered her levels in one month and counting. Seems be to working.

My vet recommends this supplement for liver health when my dogs are on prescription meds that may be hard on liver function. My 12 year old Pit has been taking it (for almost 3 years), along with his anti fungal for a very stubborn case of Valley Fever, and one of my younger dogs (1-1/2 yrs) just injured a knee tendon and takes it with Rimadyl. Blood tests results on the older dog have proven better liver health when taken consistently and as directed - on an empty stomach and at least an hour prior to eating.
