Sentry HC WormX Puppies & Small Dogs is for the removal of large roundworms and hookworms in dogs and puppies. Roundworms occur in about 70% of all puppies. Each chewable flavored wormer tablet contains pyrantel pamoate, the most effective active ingredient for control of roundworms and hookworms.
It is recommended that puppies be wormed at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age. Lactating bitches should be wormed 2 to 3 weeks after whelping. Adult dogs should be routinely wormed at monthly intervals to protect against roundworm infections.
Directions:
1 tablet for each 10 pounds body weight. For dogs weighing more than 10 lbs, tablets may be broken in half to provide 1/2 tablet for each additional 5 lbs body weight. All tablets are scored and easily broken in half. May be given to your dog by hand, mixed in food or put into a treat.
Place tablet directly into back of mouth or conceal tablet in a small amount of food. A follow-up fecal examination should be conducted in 2 to 4 weeks after the first treatment to determine the need for retreatment.
