This is a great toy that is a little different from the usual Kong toy. However, even with our little (10 lb) dog, she was able to destroy the rope within two days of supervised play. Also, the small Kong was showing signs of destruction within a week of her playing. If you have a strong chewer (even if they are small), get the medium size of this toy.
