Directions :
Remove battery cover on top of the detector device and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included).
Place motion detector device on top of the cat and turn clockwise to attach.
Adjust direction of motion sensor and angle of spray nozzle as desired.
Flip switch to the desired mode; wait several seconds for the motion detector to stabilize; device is now active!
I received the kit quickly, but when I opened the box and looked at the packaging it had been opened. I assembled the kit correctly but could only get the sound to work and not the air blast. I called to ask how to return it & was given the wrong directions. I resealed the and placed it on my porch, but when it wasn't picked up after a week & called again. I got new instructions & asked for a reshipment of the item. This time they did pick up the box. But it's been 5 days & haven't received a new one. I'll probably have to call again. Customer service is not very good at this company!

I had problems with my cats jumping up on my kitchen countertops. Bought this item hoping that it would stop that behavior; and, it has. Doesn't harm the animal in any way. The head of the device can be turned in any direction to get all of a particular area or part of an area. The device can either be put on air or alarm or air/alarm. I had a little problem getting the head of the device onto the can but figured it out rather quickly. Glad I bought it.

Ordered 2. Kept one and gave one to my daughter. I used mine to keep my cat from opening our bedroom door. (He opens all our doors.) He stopped trying to get in within 3 days. My daughter uses hers to keep neighborhood cats from spraying her front door (she has 2 indoor cats). So far so good!
