SulfOxyDex Shampoo (1 Gal) by IVX Animal Health is used for primary topical treatment of seborrhea, Schnauzer Comedo Syndrome and other conditions characterized by infection, hyperkeratosis and follicular plugging.
SulfOxyDex Shampoo is the only product to combine micronized sulfur and benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is an antibacterial, degreasing, keratolytic and lipid solubilizing formula with "follicular flushing" action). Micronized sulfur provides enhanced keratolytic and keratoplastic activity.
SulfOxyDex Shampoo contains sodium lactate, a natural moisturizing factor to promote hydration of the skin and coat.

we have used many different medicated shampoos
on our own dogs as well as clients. this shampoo is the least drying and the most soothing we have found. we need it back!!!! lost without it!!!

I purchased this shampoo for my 2 1/2 yr old Dogue de Bordeaux who has had issues w/demodectic mange & just bad skin issues in general ever since we got him. As long as I use this every week, it seems to keep things under control, his skin clear & keeps him off antibiotics for skin infections. I tried reducing the use to every other week to see if I could maintain him on that schedule but the issues came back after a couple of months so I'm back to shampooing him every week w/this. I like the fact that this shampoo contains both benzoyl peroxide and sulfur. I will continue to purchase this product on a regular basis.
