Tartar Shield Soft Rawhide Chews for Extra Large Dogs (12 count)

I am a veterinarian technician and I see what bully sticks and raw rides do to dogs teeth, not to mention some becoming foreign bodies, I decided to give tarter Shields a try. They are a little pricey for a lab that wants her treat every day, but she is 7, I took her in to have a dental done but her teeth were in such great shape she didn't need one.

My Vet. recommended Soft Chews for our German Shepherd. She gives them to her 3 dogs, also. My Shepherd begs for them each evening. We also brush his teeth regularly, and have noticed cleaner teeth since he started eating the Soft Chews over the past four months. I bought the extra-Large dog size but he still crunches them rather quickly. For this reason, I think the Large Dog 24 size pack is a better value. Entirely Pets 5*****s

My dogs just love these chews. They are much safer then giving them rawhide chews and seem to keep their teeth very clean.

My dog used to have a bad stomach and could tolerate any dog raw hide. These are great for him and have no tummy issues. Excellent and not hard on the teeth. Dentist recommended to me because they are a softer chew.

My vet recommended "soft" rawhide dental chews, even though he only carries the hard ones. I finally found these and much prefer them to the Virbac CET HEXtra, which my dogs would soften up, then try to swallow whole, gag, and regurgitate for another try. Very nerve wracking for me and potentially dangerous for them. Can't say yet whether they do anything for their teeth, but they definitely like them.
