Its formula is water based, so you don't have to worry about accidental ingestion or application to the eyes.
To use, moisten a cotton ball with the tear stain remover and apply to the stained fur, trying to avoid getting any of the solution in your animal's eyes. After application of the stain remover is complete, all you have to do is rinse it off with water. You can continue to repeat this process daily until the stains disappear. If you want to prevent further stains from occurring, then you can keep applying the tear stain remover to your pet's fur even after the stains are gone.
Directions:
Do no use directly in eyes. Moisten cotton ball with Naturvet Tear Stain Remover and gently wipe over stained fur area. Rinse area with water after applying to your pet.
Note: Give daily until tear stains subside then apply daily to help prevent reoccurence.
