My Dobeermann loves to play chuck it, tennis balls were fine when she had puppy teeth (the glue in tennis balls damages the enamel of adult teeth) I purchased the Orbee tennis balls and she loves them, maybe to much; she can disassemble a ball in about two minutes of chewing, The layers come apart leaving the white core that no longer fits snugly into the chuck. It's a good toy but pricey for the lack of durability.
