I have a part chihuahua/jack russell puppy...7 months old. Up until the vet prescribed this mediction this little fellow has really run me ragged. Since I will soon be 70, I think a little guy like this really needs a family...but, of course I have come to love him dearly. I cannot say enough about this medication. It has slowed him down. I have used many products over the years to soothe and/or relax my dogs, and finally noticed this product on the website. It works well for all my dogs, especially for a Maltipoo we have who is very anxious much of the time and obsessively cleans herself at night (self-soothing). With the help of Tryptocalm LT, I am able to rub Lexie's back to comfort her and help her relax at bedtime and thereby keep her from licking off her hair as much. I want a product that relaxes my animals but doesn't just knock them out or make them dizzy, and the Tryptocalm seems not to produce any such undesirable or unpleasant side effects. I rarely give 5 stars in any product review since there is almost always room for improvement, but would give this product 4 and 1/2 stars if I could!
