Directions for use:
Daily cleanse the affected area with warm water or a saline solution, so as to preserve epithelial cells from irritation. Apply Veterinus Derma GeL generously several times a day, as needed. To help prevent skin proliferation, extend application to the surrounding area.
I found this product 6 years ago, my horse was hit by a tractor trailer and a cantalope size section of her left hind end torn away. I used this product as directed and her wound healed in roughly 3 months. Since then I have used it on various other injuries that could not be stiched close and have had wonderful results. I recommend this product to all of my friends. It can be used on injuries that have been stitched close by a vet and it speeds the healing. The only thing else I recommend is to apply vaseline below the wound area so that the draining fluids from the wounds won't take the hair off.
